we didn't even know about it, till like I dunno... 6 months ago?

tom lost an auction, but bought it, cos the seller didn't get the payment of the winner

then later I won one too :clap:

and I saw another copy later again... but I haven't seen it since.

it's exactly the same as the card one, but this one is in a jewel case!

I don't understand why it doesn't have an extra song :shrug:

It's a promo DJ acetate from Netherlands. So nothing on the back cover and a boring CD-R.

well I dunno... I could never ever sell my collection! Or i should be in real need of money.... but it saddens me to see people sell their stuff... not only the singles, but also the albums and such... that makes me wonder if they are not fans anymore

I received my Ultimate Box (from a Hong Kong sender) and if the placing of the CDs and DVDs is anything to go by, then the Box is 100% original!

I also just saw that the same seller is selling another one on eBay right now for 36 euro, so anybody who wants an original Ultimate Box can safely buy it now there.

I don't think their fan status has everything to do with it. It takes a lot of time and money to build a collection and it's easy to just give up and say, "Oh, I'll never be able to get it all" and just stop collecting all together. Plus when push comes to shove, you do have to sell it off to make some $.

AND lastly the majority of fans don't start collections (past the albums) but that doesn't mean they aren't fans! :flowers:

You're right! I'm selling off some stuff right now (tapes, promos, etc.) either because I do not need it anymore, or because I have it double for one reason or another. It's just been piling up for some time now. And I see no reason in having doubles actually, although different collectors see things differently. Also, there are different types of collecting. I do not want to have every single or promo, etc. I only buy releases, which have different versions of the songs on them (i.e. different radio versions and remixes). For me buying every release there is is pointless and a waste of money if there isn't something really special about it.

I agree- i have my favourite things to collect and things i know ill never use/ listen to or want to look at such as all the french LPs of her early albums and most vegas stuff haha.

My box of 100 Maxi single cases arrived today! And only 5 were damaged!!! :kicking:

So far I have replaced all 33 of my maxi singles (yes, triple what I had about 3 weeks ago!!! ), so I still have loads left for my future purchases. All my singles look brand new thanks to these cases!! I even carefully took the stickers off and stuck them on my new cases!! :giggle:

i dont really - know - seen as no ones ever seen it before (but not that its not unheard of that things can just pop up) and that it hasnt got a back to the inert (thats not standard) is it folded over but just blank? Whats the paper quality like? is it proffessional looking or lazer printed etc?

It's not folded (had to look in my english dictionnary for that word haha!)

and yes it's blank, it's just white. The cover shines under the light.

To me it looks like professionnaly printed but you know...
