the collectors list isn't made by sony, but by loyal fans, who base it on information they receive or on items they have. If no one ever got any info on russian releases, they are not on the list :)

I'll give information on Russian releases if needed :msn-wink:

I think each of us collectors should nominate our items (the ones we got this year!) in the following categories:

 

1) Item of the Year

2) Bargain of the Year

3) CD of the Year

4) Vinyl of the Year

5) Cassette of the Year

6) Promo of the Year

 

lol, what do you think? then we put polls and decide which one wins? :lol:

OMG OMG OMG GUYS!!!!!!!!!!

 

I JUST GOT HOME AND OPENED ALL MY PREZZIES I ORDERED AGES AGO!!!!!!! THEY BEYOND EXCEEDED MY IMAGINATION!!!!

 

 

CAN I JUST SAY - I HAVE JUST FOUND OUT THAT THERE IS A DEMO VERSION OF BE THE MAN....AND I NOW HAVE IT!!! HAHAHA OMG!!!!!! I DID NOT KNOW THIS?! I jsut put the cd in thinking.....oh yeh i'tll be the japanese version....but oh no a demo english version - sounds like its pretty much sung in one take. I'm soooooo excited right now - i love unexpected discoveries -

 

 

i'll post my purchases later obviously including possibly the most beautifully presented cassette ive ever seen!

Oh my loving Father! I have this Be The Man promo a couple of weeks now and had always asumed that it was the album version, but it is distinctly different! Especially toward the end and there's more backing vocals like the Japanese version. It's just a pity she didn't sing On This Night, that would have been amazing (but then I guess I'd have heard of it by now if she had) I wouldn't have even played it if you hadn't mentioned it! I was so excited (a little bit of wee came out! :ermm: ) I love this version. Everyone needs to hear it. Thank you Thomas, I love you so much right now for pointing this out to me. :wub:

 

And the Unison promo. Where? How? Amazing. Splendiferous. you da man!

Huh? :xmas_ohmy: Was this some kind of a job lot you got, was it on ebay. Some very nice items in there Next Plane Out, J'attendais etc. How much did this cost you?

No, I bought those seperately and they were sent to my friend to Sweden, then she got all this into one box and sent it to me. :xmas_happy:

I got this weird Because You Loved Me (US?) CD single today, it has 2 tracks - BYLM and I Don't Know. Cat. number is 36K 78237. Its not in collector's guide. Help.

 

Anyone else have this editon?
