I didn't even know they do release whole albums as a promo...

yeh it was the week before the album release and im guessin they had already been printed and pressed so they sectioned off loads to be sent as promos and just slapped a sticker on um over the bar code

Great to see the promo Eyes On Me turned out to be real Davey, it looks 100% real, is it as good quality wise as a normal cd release. Is there a catalogue number on the CD and insert or anything else to match them up?

Love the celine walls and ceiling, very inspiring.

 

Re:Next Plane Out. It is usualy listed as a promo, I know I have it listed as such on www.powerofthemusic.com, but it did apparently reach no. 61 in the Aussie charts. So I may need to change that. The version on the CD single is not actually the edited version, that can be found on an australian version of All By Myself

On a side note, I purchased the 7" of Can't Live With You.... the other day, but can't get too excited as it's the lp only, no cover. Still it was only €2.10 and the cover may show up one of these days (well I can dream) If anyone has one to sell...

No it wasn't an ebay buy at all. Got it from another site, total fluke and good luck.

I know most of them don't but some of them do, so I've decided, since I don't have a cover then there ain't one. (Mind you remember Call The Man?)

 

I'd have preferred the version of JDDMT that you have.

 

Glad you got My Love single. Next time though, just ask me for it. I'm still waiting on the new Jap version of WTBI, but I did get the lp single of Vois Comme C'est Beau recently and the Taiwan My Love & notebook. Loving the notebook, and it comes in one of those plastic wrap bags that can be opened and sealed shut again, great for keeping it's pristine Daz white cover clean.

 

Can't wait to finally move into the new house (couple of weeks now) so I can get all my Céline stuff out of storage. Haven't seen any of it since the end of August!

Nice one Hilda! I always liked this US version of all by myself, cause I'd associate the photo so much with Call The Man, it always surprises me when I see it's ABM. (I get surprised easily!)

Is there much difference between the two edits? Is one of them the usual edited single version?

 

Yes, it's a long time to wait, but it'll be nice to take them all out and look at them with fresh eyes. Only trouble is it's geting harder to buy stuf now, cause I can't always be sure if I have the single already!

Yeah I meant to make a list, but normally they're all around me and I don't need to. Didn't get the chance before I had to pack up, so sometimes with the less rare ones, I just can't be certain I haven't already got it. Then the thrill of bidding takes over and I end up with two!

Naturally I know how many copies of A Paris or Dreamin of You etc that I have.

Still love you though Davey, even if you are a cocky so-and-so (In fact that's probably one of my fav things about you!)

 

I can imagine three ABM in a row would have you reaching for the vodka bottle, too much raw emotion in 15 minutes.

Forgot to say Davey, that's the same catalogue number as the genuine UK release of the Eyes On Me single. Are you sure it's not a very good fake.

u know its probably a miss print promo or something that went wrong? i reckon its uk.

 

i remember seeing a promo for the french one on ebay and forgot to bid - i always wondered if it was fake or not coz it lookkked sooooooo gorgeous - a full body shot of one of the Taking chances photos and it wa s a card sleeve and i NEVER saw it again - so anoyed!! but i was inclined to think that was the french promo - so thinking Daveys prob is Uk.

 

I still cant understand it guys - i have about 3-400 now as well but i know eeeeexactly what ive already got...i really dont get how you can forget - i love them all so much - i couldnt forget - i even know which i have two of haha.

 

 

and yeah all by myself - not one of my faves by her anyway so i got through the 1st one and thought - oh god!! hahahaha one day tho! ha -

I haven't received any of the videos yet, as they are recent wins on E-bay. GAWD, I love that site!!

But, I'm sure the Unison Videos are the same as either the US or Canadian VHS.

I am absolutely sure it's not a good fake promo of EOM! It's real quality and it's not a cd-r! PLUS it's not the same cat. number as the single, cos I got; 88697 2275123 for the single!! AND the layout is not the same as the single layout! check my photo!

 

I have to keep a list, cos without the catelogue numbers I'm lost! I will count my precious ones after the cd fair that's coming up this month! I really hope to score the Alone and A Cause promo!
