Oh, so you watched that auction too? I had a feeling then too that it might not be real because of the picture, but I hoped my gut feeling would be wrong. It's so annoying that this is so hard to find.. and I thought I'd finally found my copy.

 

When I contacted the seller, he first suggested that he'd pay back half and let me keep the CD, but I told him I want the full amount because I can prove this was fake. So he refunded me the full amount and told me to keep it. I don't want to give anyone a negative rating, so I guess that's ultimately what he cared about

 

 

i hate that tho as then they get to continue trying to deceive people. You should give a neg rating anyway. he/ she cant do anything about it now anyway.

Well don't be sure about that! I left a few Neutral feedbacks for a seller on a few items. And later I found out that these were deleted!!! Apparently sellers can make Ebay do that!! :wacko:

So the seller that sold me the fake version of A Special Radio Event is called "pjyle" on eBay.

 

So anyone might wanna watch out for him. I have no idea if it was just the one time, but I see that he's got some questionable items for sale now. He's got a 100% positive rating as well and I don't want to trash someone unnecessarily, but it looks very suspicious to me.

 

So might wanna be extra careful with buying anything from this seller.

 

Edit: Basically anything on his profile looks fake to me. All the photos are digital and not of the actual product. Huge red flags here. I wish I noticed sooner.

So the Celine Dion album promo that I've been wanting to buy forever finally arrived today! I'm so happy I finally own this!

 

And the seller wrote a note to me. :wub: I haven't had time to type it into Google Translate yet and actually see what it says, but I'm sure it's something nice! I don't speak French, but it's just so nice to get a personal note like that.

 

edit: I'm actually trying to type this into Google Translate right now, and I would greatly appreciate if someone could help me out with translating this. Hand written French was more difficult to interpret than I expected.

Yeah, me too. It's one of my favorite songs! I always listen to the extended version whenever I listen to that song. I wish there was more extended versions of her songs.

oh love the courage shirt! i didnt buy tshirts at hyde park as i wasnt impressed with them but wish i had now just as they are so unique for that date. Whoops!

So I just received A Special Radio Event that I bought from eBay last week, and now I'm wondering if this copy is authentic? I feel like it might not be after all. I've been comparing it to this picture (https://www.discogs....lease/10747872) and it doesn't look identical.

 

The one I received looks like it's printed at home, and the circle surrounding the inner circle is not there. :hmm:

 

What do you guys think?
