Yeah, I think as for Céline it's really impossible to have a complete collection!... There are just tooo many releases of singles, promos and whatever else all around the world...

Even if you would have a loooot of money, it's not everything because some stuff are just too hard to find... Released only a few copies or only in 1 country...

So I know, even if you would win a jackpot, I wouldn't be able to get all Céline-related releases.

Sure Dionesque, I was making a joke that it was good to hear that there was an Irish promo of Eyes On Me as it meant that Celine was now singing "In Irish".

 

Then Davey said it was great to hear Celine singing súil ar mé (eyes on me)

 

Slán means goodbye in Irish.

 

Oh and I love your 12 inchers. The Je Ne Veux Pas looks in great condition, have you played it? I believe the Instrumental version comes from that release, but is not listed on the reverse.

 

I got that book when it came out, it has some good photo's in it. Like the one of Celine posing with her Eurovision trophy and the one with Celine with a guitar and in white shorts. There was a time there in the early '90's when she was really sexing it up! (Around the time of Water From The Moon)

 

Oh and Davey, I did actually find a real version of the Call The Man promo with cover this week. €30 (I know you got yours for a third of that price, whatever!! :-) I am just real happy to have it, and now I've got 2 copies of the actual Cd again!)

It lists "Comment t’aimer" as the B-side but maybe I have to play it to check if it's really the case - there are a lot vinyl singles with one song listed on the sleeve and a different one actually on the record!...

I was confused about the JNVP single, but yeah side A is the remix, side b is the instumental and not Comment T'aimer! (it lists the instrumental on the lp itself though )

Well, I haven't paid that money for my copy but that's true, these maxis ("A cause" and "Immensité") are pretty expansive on the net... Hope for you that they'll get cheaper later when the sellers won't be successful on selling them for those high prices!

 

Anyway, some of you (Davey, John...) get me confused about my "Je ne veux pas" 12" single so I just played it and now I can confirm:

 

The A-side is a much longer version of "Je ne veux pas" - it lasts 6:37 minutes and has more drums/bass in it! On my compilation CD the version is only 4:02 minutes long so it's pretty big diffrence!

 

And the B-side is indeed the instrumental version of "Je ne veux pas" and not the on the sleeve listed "Comment t'aimer" - this song doesn't exist at all on this maxi.

 

And to my excitement, the maxi plays really flawless, without a single scratch or pop! Wow!

I'll deffinitely make a digital copy for myself as I want to put it on my mp3 player and don't want to struggle the vinyl each time I hear to it.

 

I'm not sure though if it's allowed to share it here as it's an official release after all.

 

If I get an agreement from Admins, I'll post the mp3 when I'm done with it.

there was in the multimedia section a rip of the instrumental and extended version of Je Ne Veux Pas. I have the extended version on my PC, if anybody wants it.

 

An off topic question...Do you know something about the existence of an extended version of Comment T'aimer?

It's no surprise your kids are leaving their toys lying around when they see you spreading Celine Dion stuff all over the kitchen floor!

 

Glad you are happy with your Je Ne Veux Pas, I love the extended version of that song, it's a bit of a remix without actually being a remix. Strange that the instrumental version runs about a minute shorter than it and about 1min 20 sec longer than the normal version.

 

Oh and I love your D'elles stuff, are all 3 of the ringbound books lined notebooks?

No. One is the notebook, above the notebook on the right side lays the agenda (it's approx. CD case size, features one week per page and loads of beautiful photos, everything on glossy paper.

 

The ringbound thingie on the left is a table calendar and it features one month per page and most of each page takes a pic from "D'elles" photoshot.

The Duet version of the song is track 1 track 2 is a duet with Bocelli & Dulce Pontes.
