I love that list, Mike. I wonder why it does not include When I Need You.

wow, cette photo la est tres rare! congrats!!!

By the way, someday I'll sell it. How much do you think it's worth? I'm sure some people would pay up to $1000 for it.

Why would you want to sell it? :(

A few years ago I decided to sell a few items because I needed some money, but then I changed my mind and took a side job. I know I shouldn't get too attached to material things, but I just love my Celine items.

Very nice. Love SSDA with the translations. And the pic of the front of TYLAM, much much better than the one there is on wiki.

Say, for instance... a chance to see Céline in Vegas... or better, in Paris!

Now that would be a nice idea. I hope you get the chance to do it without having to get rid of it, dear Mike.

Or, I will win the lottery and buy it from you. hehe

Thank you!! hahaha

For real, i've owned for a decade already. I don't want it to be "the lord of the rings" if you know what I mean.

:P

Well, what is yours is supposed to be yours. In 91 I missed buying the only cassette copy of ITWAOW they sold in Costa Rica, and thirteen years later, I got it from a friend who had bought it back then. :P

Well, maybe it's supposed to be someone else's ;)

haha

I forgot about these two babies!

wow, loved that SSDA with spanish translations, I didn't know they did that for that album too! :w00t: Have to get a copie, its my favourite french album!

Also its interesting what they did for the Chrysler campaign in Argentina and México, it seems they had a good market for the cars there ^_^ However, placing the Chrysler logo ON the cover of the album is just disgusting :pinch:  :P

Thanks a lot guys!! The Chrysler cd with the commercials is VERY VERY rare... i won it through a contest. Same with the ONE HEART cd with the chrysler sleeve. It's just a celophane with the logo! So very few copies were issued!

Thank you for the "Le temps qui compte" single cover! By the way, has anyone of you ever seen "On s'est aimé à cause" promo single?

The promo single of "Le temps qui compte" is definitely fake!

I think so too :innocent:

I'm really doubting too. Why write Columbia and Epic on it and also why add the studio where the song was recorded?

It's supposed to be an Sony Poland release, so why isn't Sony mentioned?

Alvick, could you post the disc too? Is it an cd-r or a normal cd?

Mike, you're collection is so awesome!

I would like to say a few things about "Le temps qui compte" and don't kill me for this. The first and the main reason is barcode 0012345678905 looks like it was copied and pasted in Photoshop. This barcode does not have to do with this product and is not bound with this product in no way. It's just fictional barcode with fictional numbers which does not exists. By the way, the barcode starting with double zero is a product from Canada or the United States, Polish products has 590 at the beginning. Of course, it's not necessarily where the product was actually made, but this is still irrelevant in this fictional case. The other thing in this unreal barcode is a nice collection of numbers 123456789. The second doubt is catalogue number. All the albums and singles from D'elles are 11-digit numbers starting with 886, this release has only 10-digit number with 828 at the beginning which refers to Sony Music releases back in 2005 like for example On ne change pas albums and singles. As far as I know all of these new catalogue numbers has the same numbers as barcodes, but in this case the unreal barcode is different to the catalogue number. Plus COL in combination with 10-digit number is not catalogue number, so another fictional number which does not exists.

haha great report (and good eye)! I didn't study all those details but the "123456789" barcode ( :mdr: ) should be enough reason to affirm that this so called promo is as fake as coin of 3,5 euros :P

I agree with Davey, you have an amazing eye for detail.

I think every collector here started buying a few fake items who thought they were genuine releases, but that's something you learn with time ^_^ I also bought some fake items when I started to collect Céline, and wasn't aware until I had some experience and learned how to tell (though some times is quite hard!). I'm a bit apprehensive about "Le Miracle" promo single that I bought a couple days ago.

When I get it, I'll post it. (If it's the real deal).

CELINE MARIE, this is really serious thing than boring. Let me be clear. Poland was one of the large markets of pirate copies in central and eastern Europe after fall of communism and phonographic piracy was exceeded 90 percent of the total Polish market in the 90s, according to IFPI. We are collectors and we can not to be silent. We must to talk and need to share these kind of weird things, I think it's our little duty or mission. I want nothing but the truth as a prevention and warning for another collectors to the future, and not to live another years in doubts or lies.

Matej yes I agree but blame everything what is polish and from Poland is a little rude.I see a lot of fake items from other countries ,USA , UK etc .for example, why not analyze this http://www.ebay.pl/itm/CELINE-DION-MEGA-RARE-3-BOYS-AND-NEW-SHOW-DVD-REGION-FREE-/281044592037?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item416f9025a5 or http://www.ebay.pl/itm/CELINE-DION-RARE-THE-MILLENIUM-CONCERT-2-DVD-SET-1999-/281049474598?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item416fdaa626 or anything else ,why?because it is United States?! honesty depends on the nature of man, not the country in which lives.as I said, ebay is full of fakes and we just need to watch out.someone sells hair RCH? ,ok your problem and money if you buy them, everyone decides about himself .

I want to watch pictures ,not analyze one cd :wtf:

CELINE MARIE, I'm trying to analyze all the weird releases from over the world. If I posted opinions about the Polish CD "Le temps qui compte", it does not means that everything from Poland is bad. At the end, I want to emphasize and highlight the most important thing - I'm not blaming everything Polish and from Poland. I have a reverence and respect for our big northern neighbors.

Davey - it's a normal cd, not an acetate. I'll dig it out again if you still want me to post a pic of the disc. Edited by alvick53
