Finally I got a decent copie of the Ultimate Box!! :clap: :clap: :clap:

It arrived really fast (7 days from Japan). Now when you have both fake and genuine copies of this item in your hands, you realize easily how different they look. The most noticeable details that worked for me are those for:

1) the dark pattern printed inside of the box (behind the plastic trays) and inside the booklet, and of course, the quality of the photos (so cheap in the fake copie -_- ).

2) the smaller and original Taking Chances font printed in the edge of the box (the one that includes the discs inside, not the outer box)

But even the weight is different!. However, the quality of the genuine copie outstands undoubtedly the fake one, but you need to have both of them in your hands to compare.

Hey! Congrats on getting the CD. I got one a few months ago. And yeah, what a relief they released it digitally on something. We could so easily have missed out on hearing this song on anything other than the LP single. How much was it?

With the info from Julian, I bought the Astérix et les Vikings... it is that Céline's on it... but the movie was sh!t! :giggle:

USA FDC with the Celine Dion cover used as envelop, I dunno if it's actually official, but I thought it looked cool! LOL

The UK version of the LE of ANDHC... and The Best Of tape, is this rare? I got it for €2,50

Yeah Jav, it is one of the nicest cassettes I have seen. I love that they put such detail on the actual cassette itself.

Davey, Great bargain with the AND premiere stuff. You'll (hopefully) have momento's of both Vegas premieres in your collection now. And the OBDP promo pack and the English Peanut LP? I'm :in_love:

The Best Of, you don't see them around much but I don't think they are all that rare either. Which catalogue number is it? (And Is it Carrere or Mega)

I wonder if it is healthy to be such good friends with someone that you would rob blind, given half a chance? :shy:

Oh, and £8.99 for 20 Exceptional Highlights is certainly not too much. That's quite a rare CD! :thumbsup2:

Pardon me for the quality of the CD on the left, that was way back 1998 (i bought that CD on the said yr).

The left CD was released here in Asia but not Japan, and on the right was released by Japan (Japan Version)

the upper CD is again Asian Release... and though Japan is part of Asia, but I guess they made their own appearance of the CD and at the top is the ASIAN Release (the same/identical to US/France) and below is the Japan Version of CD...

Really?? Never heard of Malaysian Version... I'll try to find one as soon as I can. Yeah, I was so amazed by their artwork... and the infos written on that CD were in English rather than in French which is same in Asian Release

These are the 3 releases am referring to, a CD and the other 2 covers are just like the Taking Chances Concert Cover...

This packaging was released in a single CD

This release has 3 CDs and the inlay is so cute it's totally different from the old inlay

Congratulations! :clap: That is a ruddy brilliant purchase. How annoying she signed it upside-down, but even so, I'm very jealous. I haven't ever seen that before. The logo is a real surprise. I love the 80's photo on the front, but the quality is a bit cheap looking though. I'm surprised it's not at least in colour, considering they had such a lovely program for the C'est Pour Toi concerts.

Were there pages inside too? Any photo's of them?

this was from UK and I bought this one from a closest friend of mine who has a boutique/record bar here in the Philippines of which all of the CDS are original and imported. I searched the cataloque number and the barcode number then it showed from UK. My friend told me this is a limited release and he bought this one from US (as far as I can remember he told me US not Canada). And I searched infos on how to detect if this CD is genuine or fake (http://reviews.ebay.com/How-to-Spot-Fake-CDs-especially-rare-ones_W0QQugidZ10000000006386863) read this link... and I proved it's not fake because the cataloque number is found is also seen in the inner circle of the playing side of the CD... the cataloque number is 492730.2 which is found in this TIN BOX and in the playside of the CD it has its catalogue number: 492730.2/r. I searched it on the net (both barcode and the catalogue number) and check this, it was said released in UK howver the released date was not written: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Celine-Dion-These-Sp...D-/310276507194 but i believe this was released prior to the 2007 re-release. I tried comparing the cds and its info over the Asian release, bith have the same catalogue number but different barcode. and also, this released TATST album which is in TIN BOX does not include a catalogue, purely CD only...

I never knew there was ever a listening party in Spain for that album! This is when I mean those were the glory days of the music industry!! :in_love:

12 Heroes among us Book :wub: I've been after this book since it was released, but wasn't sure where to buy it. Now I'm glad that I finally found a copie because it includes many Celine pictures and behind-the-scenes shots, not seen when we saw the first pictures in the canadian magazines! And the best is that all the profits for the sale go to the Celine Dion Foundation and other projects for children where she is involved :wub:

And this is a small whim I saw by chance, its a Sony Music compilation released when they were introducing the Super Audio CD format, back in 2001. The opening track is TTWII by Céline, and it includes both multichannel and stereo tracks too But what brought my attention he most is the package, I love it! :in_love: Yeah I can't get enough of this special releases and packages (where have gone those days?) :wub:

Honestly I have no idea, but I'd love to know! What could possibly bring the attention to that point that Sony Music Spain did a party release for that album? :mellow: Especially when I know that they haven't cared much about her career here in the last ermmm 10 years? :hmm:

Would loooove to know. I guess they would have invited many popular singers and people from the showbusiness around. If only I could look through a small hole now to watch what happened in that event . But its really surprising and great to know that they were interested in promoting that album here ^_^ .

Now I wonder if they made this for more albums... but probably FIY was in this too, being released only a year before and including also a spanish track.

The scans that I posted are it. The 1st is the front and back covers. The 2nd is the inside. I agree it's really cheaply made, but considering it was a small tour that Rene had to fight to get I guess I can understand not wanting to put more effort into the advertising.

I've never seen that Incognito Tour programme before, wow!

As for a listening party, we've got one in Poland too, it was for "ANDHC" and it was like a week ahead of the album release, if I remember well. I've been there, it was a really nice party. It took place in a multiplex cinema. They were showing some promo videos, guess it was the "ANDHC" music video and some "making of" videos and than they were playing the entire album. Afterwards there was a snack bar and there was a lso a draw contest: one person off all attenders won a Céline DVD package, if I remember well.

When I was leaving after the party, I noticed many people left over their invitations so I grabbed them and I think I have like 3 or 4 of them beside mine.

The only way to get an invitation (if you weren't a Sony co-worker or had a friend there) was to win it on one of the biggest Polish commercial radio station called RMF FM. By the way, it's the same station that invited Céline to Kraków in 2008 and organized the "Walk of Fame" event with the star unveiling.

I may post a pic of that invitation when I get time to dig it up.
