hAHAHAH Yeah the card single is the rarest of them all! (all the HYEBIL singles that is ) But yeah it's more rare than the jewel case! I'm still searching for the card single, so if anyone ever sees it, let me know! LOL

 

I'm seeing it right now Davey (it's sitting on the desk in front of me ) I have the one track promo and the maxi with video too.

Ahahaha, so i am very fortunate .... Thanks to you two I never knew that the card single of HYEBIL is that rare. I still don't remember where i got it from! But in fact, i search the jewel case maxi cd since years and it was always on my mind this is why i am so happy and when i get it (i hooope that it comes before christmas ) i will take a picture for you

 

It is weird that the HYEBIL video got airplay in Holland we can say that HYEBIL single is the early penand to the My Love single no? It was a massive flop in europe if i am right?!

 

Can you tell me where the card single was released? oO in france or not? If i see this item on ebay i will tell you Davey

ithought the maxi of hyebil was rarer too - took me ages to find it at the time of its release - well i left it a bit longer ....but i vividly remember how easy the card one was to get coz i picked it up in hmv birmingham of all places and there was literally about 20 of them! so weird.

I remember it was virtually impossible for me to find the HYEBIL maxi single when it was released. They placed me on suicide watch.

 

When I found it, I ended up paying up the arse for it. And now I find that there's a cardsleeve. Call the doctor!

I found these in a music shop today:

 

-The Collector's Series Volume 1 - Epic (obviously the original UK release)

 

-A New Day Has Come - Columbia (with the "will not play on PC/Mac" sticker). This is obviously the original version of the album, but it's not Epic, so it has to be the EU edition.

 

 

What I find most strange is that both albums were sealed with black disc trays in the cases! You can see the other side of the insert behind the disc tray though. I never knew these 2 albums were released with black trays, does anyone else know more about this??

I'm waiting for the 6th january to arrive to open my copie of Au Delà de l'image book too! (Here in Spain we receive more presents in the Epiphany day than in Christmas). So I can't wait Actually it's hard to have the parcel in front of me all day almost and I can't open it until the 6th january

No, these were actually bought in a proper music shop! They were factory sealed. This store often has older versions of Celine's albums, such as the original UK Epic TCOML with black tray. But I was so surprised to see these 2, so I bought them.

Well I think it looks better than ok!

Yeah it has a proper booklet, all the lyrics, the enormous dedication etc. are included. The whole back of the leaflet has the picture of Celine looking through the wooden shutters. It's the best version of that picture that I have seen on a release.

 

The ADM is still sealed, that's why it looks plasticised (is that really a word?)

 

I got ...l'Image too. Totally fooled that it wasn't coming ( sorry about that) Unfortunatley I stopped taking piano lessons, I'm not the most co-ordinated bloke on the planet!

 

It must be a first for you not getting any Celine things for Christmas. What did you get instead, fashion wheel?

(Apparently, most of Celine's Eighties Costumes were designed by Ghislaine using the one she got for Christmas in 1982!)

But my ANDHC is Columbia, all the UK releases were Epic unitl 2004/5. There are lots of European sellers on eBay with the white label ANDHC (even with French text), it can't just have been the UK that had this version. My edition must be European.

 

I'll try and get some clear trays, I don't think they should be black either. It's really strange!

If it's Columbia it's the EU version.... I guess they were out of clear jewel cases, so they used a black one
