Maybe they were just trying to find a nice way to explain that the fans didn't like it? Rather than saying on the DVD "the fans didn't like it because it looked terrible." I didn't like it either, but I feel bad now because I know Celine was upset by people's reactions. It's just hair...it doesn't really matter in the great scheme of life anyway, we love her for who she is as an artist and person.

Still, people generally don't like to be told that their hair doesn't look good. My Mama got home from the hairdressers last week, and I told her she looks like a man with her new haircut. She did not appreciate it.

Edit: Ok reading this post, I realize it doesn't totally make sense. Sorry. Very tired.

hahaha yeh i know what u mean, i felt sorry for her as well. But she herself said....everyone hated it and so she knew, its not like they were trying to hide it from her but then someone on the dvd tries to make out that the fans wernt ready for her to change- its almost like trying to say were stuck in a time warp and really obsessed with her hair haha (altho we are talkin bout it right now). haha. Those are her real freckles...its just they cover them up with make up now

I don't think that Victoria style you posted would fit her. She's got a long chin, that style would only make it look longer. If it's cut similar to that style, it should be longer to fit her well. Kinda like what she had to Anne-Marie's wedding .

Actually, it would do the opposite

Celine's hairdo in post #1 is so.... oldish. I dont know, I feel as if I had been thrown back in time. It's weird that in 90s, such hairdo was a trend. But now, we view it as... I can't find a word to describe it. I cant believe I survived that era

Cos Sony told her to!! She'd had all her hair cut off - the shortest she'd ever had it up to that point in her life - for TCOML album etc and Sony didn't want anyone to see her "new look" until she showcased her new album.
