Man I wish this wasn`t during the week! I have to work

How long are you all staying??? and when are you coming in? Because then we can hang out late night on the weekend :lol:

I`m glad you like Artisanal Soph ^_^ The food really is amazing...seriously. The array of cheese (I love goat personally) the fondues...my tummy is growling now! (plus its lunch time lol)

Soph, I'm thinking of looking into seat sales just to come for the fan dinner. It sounds like it's growing to be quite a big one and I would love to be a part of this; so many of you to meet and share Celine love with! (That doesn't sound too good, does it? LOL) If I can somehow get my hands on a concert ticket too, even better. I'll look into things and keep you posted. Good luck figuring all this out and if I do book a flight, I'll answer the survey.

Ok guys...I can't believe I'm doing this, but I just bought myself a ticket for the show from Ticket Specialists. I have some bucks coming to me next Friday and I found a seat sale on WestJet...coming from Calgary, so I'll book that next week. Oh my goodness, this is so darn exciting, but now I have to tell my partner. Wish me luck, LOL!

And for those who don't know me yet...I'm Tracy (now in Calgary, but born & raised in the area of Montreal called NDG-close to downtown). It's stands for Notre Dame de Grace, but those of us who grew up here called it all kinds of fun names, like: Naked Dancing Girls or No Damn Good, :lol3: NDG was one of the tougher places to grow up in Montreal, but a very real place with a mix of so many different nationalities. Here's a little more about me so maybe you feel like you know me a little before we meet: I'm just over 40, a mom of two teenage boys, a social worker doing wellness work at a women's shelter, a partner in a same-sex relationship of 10 years, a soccer player learning to play the violin, and a Celine fan extraordinaire. Look for the very short little woman with short brown hair and you'll find me!

That's a good idea Tracy giving a little intro about yourself... makes the gathering even more interesting. Me I'm 25 years old. My passion is entertainment. Theme parks. I just came back from working 6 months in Walt Disney World in the College Program (btw Celine was there in January and I missed her I was so frustrated!) now I'm back in Mexico, no theme parks here so i'm back working for logistics company in air traffic department. It pays the bills while I plan my next adventure....My pic is in my avatar so you all know what i look like. Can't wait to meet you all :bananadance:

Ok...so I've asked for an invite to the Facebook Event page and...more importantly, I've booked my flight to NY. I'm arriving on Sept 15 around 4pm and will be leaving on Sept 17 around 6pm. I love Montreal and I think it's less expensive than NYC but I live near NYC so I can go anytime. I'm going to Montreal in August for some shows and yeah it'll be a lot of songs in French. I'd imagine the set list to be close to that of Paris. In NYC, it'll be 95% English songs. Which shows are you going to in NY? I'm going to both shows. :clap:

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The 2008 Celine Dion Fans Dinner in New York City will be held at the Artisanal Fromagerie and Bistro on Monday, September 15th, 2008 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.

Start an exciting evening with an intriguing and scrumptious three-course dinner, featuring the French cuisine of acclaimed chef Terrance Brennan.

The Dinner Package

• A $35.00 dinner package will get you a selected three-course meal (you select from three choices each): choice of soup or salad; a main course of beef, fish or vegetarian; and dessert. Details on each course will be provided in a future post.

• Drinks will not be included and the only form of payment will be cash.

• Tips will not be included, and will be between 15% to 20%.

Although I do not remember the exact number of interested people, we will have between 35 to 40 people at this dinner (if everyone who is interested, comes!).

I will work on an online form within the next week, and you will need to fill it out with your contact information and selection of food courses.

I will update you if there are any changes.

We are going to have a great time. Thanks!

Sweet Soph...sounds great! I probably need to change my flights 'cause as of now I'm only coming in at Newark Airport at 4:45pm on that day. There's no way I'll make it to dinner on time; I'd only get there when everyone's finishing up, if that! No worries, it shouldn't be hard to change my flight...just a little extra cash!! I should have planned better in the first place! :blink:
