Her in Belgium it was (and is) also a rather big hit. I like the song actually, before this song I had never heard about this singer.

So Katy is "Down Under" at the moment, the crowds are absolutely loving her, however I don't know whether I've become accustomed and spoiled by Celine's live performances but she was not great at all live, it was disapointing since I love the song, but it least it was actually live rather than lipsynched.

 

IKAG is not on youtube yet, but this is Hot N Cold is anyone is interested :)

I LOVE this lady! I saw her at Warped Tour and when she came to Fiesta Texas, 6 Flags and shes flippin' AWESOME! I want a new cd already though, i have played the last one WAY to much!!

I like some of Katy Perry's songs but she is really inconsistent live. Sometimes she sounds good, other times not at all.

 

she definitely can sing. i want to see Lady Gaga doing a live acoustic song, too. she's a better singer than Katy Perry imo.

I love Katy.

 

Saw her live in Tucson on Feb. 2nd. I also agree that she's not always the greatest live but the show I attended was the best I've ever seen from her. I've got lots of photos and a video or two. Will post a link soon. :)

i agree, katy can sing but lady gaga is a better singer live. The acoustic version of poker face and just dance are amazing! can't stop listening to them. :D

I like Katy, but "Thinking Of You" was kind of a misstep. I also think her performance at the Grammy's of IKAG was horrific.

Well, Katy's 1st single off her new album (which is released August 24th in North America and August 30th everywhere else) is called California Gurls. It features Snoop Dogg and it's pretty much been the biggest hit of the summer. I'll be shocked if there's still somebody who hasn't heard it. :P

I like most of Katy Perry's music. She tries to be different than most pop artists which is good. And her fashion sense is amazing lol.
