As far as investigation is concerned there's another topic Celine will be doing the opening ceremony on Beijing, Olympic. And that might be the biggest reason why. Since it is already said that they wont reveal who's artist who'll going to perform it, but now it is already announced since it is only days ahead before the event. If that would be, it's 101 % smart choice for Celine's team. Well, she could do another show appearance in US. Quote

It's her role and responsibility to answer questions and to speak on behalf of Celine, Rene, Feelings, and everything in between. Rude or not, I'm sure she gets hundreds of calls, emails, faxes and correspondents from around the world. So, she has to be firm, straight-to-the-point, or else - she can't do her job nor simply have the time to fulfill her duties. Having been there since 1981, I'm sure she must have done some things right. I know this is a personal thing because many of you did buy plan your vacation dates and travel arrangements around this date - and I do feel bad - but things like these can happen anytime.
