Äskettäin Suomessa konsertoinut kanadalaislaulaja Céline Dion on haastanut arkkitehtinsa oikeuteen. Syynä on se, ettei suunnittelijan työ miellyttänyt laulajatarta, kertoo julkkisblogi TMZ.com.

Dionin parin miljoonan euron arvoista Floridan-kotia kunnostettiin äskettäin, ja nyt 40-vuotias laulaja vaatii reilun 160 000 euron korvauksia kehnosta työstä.

Dion palkkasi arkkitehtinsa jo vuonna 2005, mutta laulajan vaatimaa kahdeksankulmaista olohuonetta ei saatu koskaan valmiiksi.

Dion's Architect Disputes Lawsuit Claims

 

LATEST: The architect singer CELINE DION has accused of causing delays to the construction of her Florida home has hit back at the star, insisting there's no truth to the claims.

 

The My Heart Will Go On hitmaker hired Randall Stofft to build her $3 million (GBP1.5 million) Jupiter Island mansion in 2005, but the octagonal living room the singer commissioned was never built.

 

According the New York Post's gossip column Page Six, after Dion fired Stofft, he took legal action to stop all building work on the property, alleging she owed him $104,500 (GBP52,250).

 

And Stofft's representative is confident the lawsuit will be dropped, telling the New York Post's gossip column Page Six, "The real story will come out shortly."

 

Dion is seeking $250,000 (GBP125,000) in damages from Stofft

there are always 2 sides to a story.

now if there was something so sinister about building this room that he thought would detriment her or her family in any way, then he should have said there and then, AND made it public seeing as he's about to be sued. seems like this could be just a difference of opinions here as far as i'm concerned.

he probably ran out of money to build the room to specifications .
