Thank you, Ann. I appreciate your feedback. I vacillated on whether or not to change her dress color. I redid this (I didn't delete the black dress, I just selected it and made another layer and changed the color on that one). I am reposting this with the black dress and the correct spelling of "colour", since that is how it was spelled on the album. I would like your opinion on the change.

Thanks, Ann. I'm so glad you like the new version and are using it. I hope it "colours" your day with nothing but good things. I know when I see my desktop with Celine in a nice wallpaper, it makes me and my computer happy.

The cool thing about fractals is all these backgrounds are fractals, but they all look so different and this doesn't begin to show the vast variety of fractals that can be generated. It boggles my mind. I am having a lot of fun with the fractal programs. I'd be curious to know if anyone else has experimented with them at all.

In another topic in this section, Denelle made a request for a Celine graphic made in the style of Andy Warhol (some of you younger people may not know who he was, so Google him for grins and chuckles). Anyway, I was intrigued, so I found a tutorial on the web for creating Andy Warhol-like graphics using Photoshop so I gave it a try. Here are some of the ones that I did that Denelle could not use them because they were too bright for the room she wanted to put this in. So I thought I would post them here in my Celine walls topic. It was a lot of fun doing this. If anyone is interested in the tutorial, let me know and I'll send you the link.

 

The first two were done before I found the tutorial, but these still have a bit of a Warhol feel to them, particularly the 2nd one:

I'm learning more about the different programs and how to use them efficiently, so hopefully, I will come up with something that will be worthy of a Celine wall. Gosh, Sofie. If people don't comment on your wonderful stuff, they must be blind! When graphics are so good, I feel compelled to say something to the artist who takes the time and effort to put together such sparkling images. I think your stuff ROCKS! There are several people on this forum who really do wonderful things with Celine in their graphics and I think it's a courtesy to the artists to take the time to comment - whether you love it, like it, have constructive criticism or just downright hate it. I think I would rather have negative comments, than no comments at all. Thanks for making me feel better.

celine looks wonderful, and the background is amazing and its colors have harmony

I have a little comment on the word "celine", I think if you would have put it in the centre or in the lower part of the walls, it would be much better

But really it's great, keep on doing such great walls

Thanks so much, Ann. I agree about the "Celine" logo. The problem is I didn't want it to get lost in the detail of the fractal. I almost didn't put it on at all. But I'll re-work this to see if I can come up with a better placement for it. Maybe if I emboss it or outline it, it won't get lost in the background. I appreciate your comment. Feedback can help the artist improve the image, don't you think?

I used one of the photos I took of Celine at her recent concert in New Orleans and put her on a fractal background I did (called Lace and Pearls). I just couldn't resist doing another wall of my precious Celine and to use one of MY OWN photos of her was an extra added attraction. I kept Mego, playing the piano, in the picture because he is looking at her so intently and that's how we all were that night. No one could take their eyes off of her, me included.

 

I hope you enjoy this one. I certainly enjoyed seeing the concert! Feedback is always appreciated.

Another Celine wall using her from one of the pics I took at her New Orleans concert on Jan 10, 2009. I called this one "Celine - A Galactic Star". I put her on another fractal background (I know, "get over this, Peggi"), but I just love fractals almost as much as I love Celine.

wow, the two new walls are amazing

the first one: the backgroung is really nice and it suits celine alot

the second one: is so colourful and stuning and make you keep looking at it for a long time
