Celine has been wearing a wig for the tour and appearances throughout: http://www.celinedionforum.com/index.php?s...=2399&st=90 ...so I'm surprised you felt extensions at the back. I thought it would have felt quite natural since the wig is fixed from the top and her short but real hair is still underneath it. Unless she clips her real hair up and thats what you felt?

Maybe it was the clips that keep the wig in place? And now we know why she kept her hair in a bun all the time, she didn't want to give away her secret and ruin the illusion of her amazing hair!

lol I can tell that it didn't feel natural at all, when I got to hug her at the end of her last show in Montreal I was shocked for a moment lol as her hair felt like the one I know from barbie dolls, not soft or anything, more like plastic, but it looked dead gorgeous haha

thomas youre exactly right.. the wig makes PERFECT since.. because I use to wear fake hair for performances i use to do and on the inside of it (fake hair/wig) you can feel where its been sewn into the base of the wig or whatever.. THATs what it felt like! And I was very confused because it was THICK.. like I felt embarassed for her because i knew she probably knew that i could feel it! Not that she would care. =)

Yeah, you can kinda tell by looking at photos of her onstage that the wigs aren't necessarily 100% natural hair. A wig the size of her hair on tour made of 100% natural hair would be very costly, and would require styling more frequently then anyone on tour would want to deal with. There's a good photo of a wig's inside on the thread that Thomas posted.

 

She's not wearing what would be considered a "full" wig, but rather a "half" wig, or also what's called a "fall". It's a wig that affixes to your own hair/head at the crown of your head. Your natural hair is in the front/your bangs and hairline remain natural looking. The bulk of the hair is on the back of the top and down your back. It's the best way to get a "natural" look, because your hairline on your forehead will look natural. She's been wearing a piece like this for quite some time... even during the end of A New Day... you can kinda see it during the vid on youtube with Celine and David Foster performing BYLM for his Hit Man Show. There's always a slight difference in the color of her natural scalp and where the wig starts, and sometimes the part in the middle of her natural hair isn't inline with the part in the wig.
