OOOOOH YES friday.. i got goodebumps over those shoes.. I've been waiting for those!! =) THANK YOU! Now, how many years worth of paychecks till I can get my feet into a pair of those!

 

Ro berry OMD.. I am SOOO excited we finally have someone who can name some cosmetics. I spent an hour on the NARS website the other day just trying to look for 'celine like' shades and stuff.. like the picture where she's putting mascara on.. and shes holding the wand straight up and down lookinginto the mirror (i'll try to find it) I think its a gold container but im so curious. I LOOOOVE cosmetics. =) THANK YOU! i look forward to more!

AH I had such a nice dream last night. I was Celine, and I was doing a concert wearing that orange Lanvin dress, except it was off-white. It was flowing in the wind, and so beautiful... hehe

 

I had the dream after I saw this picture of the dress in Vogue (April 2008 and again in April 2009)

 

God that was like, the best dream ever! Wouldn't this be beautiful in white?

 

 

 

 

 

 

As much as I hated it before, thats how much I love it now.

 

 

 

 

 

Oh, and while looking for this picture I also came across the Lanvin she wore on that mag cover a while back:

1) This think it looks like an orange table cloth

 

2) Took a closer look at that blue dress... the collar is off somehow.. I think it's softer than the Lanvin one.. hmm.. might have to keep looking.. the moore I look at it, the material seems wrong..

I'm thinking that it is YSL, but other companies use gold packaging sometimes, too.

Definately not fuzzy, that's for sure! I had most of the products figured out, but that Celine looking bobble head doll on the shelf was a new one for me. LOL.

 

I think she's just using that mirror because it's small, light and easy to hold. She has a mirror built on to her chair's arm, but those don't work well when someone is working on your hair.

Milk of Magnesia is a great foundation primer for people with oily skin, who'll be doing a lot of sweating/under intensive lighting or who live in really humid climates. You can use it straight from the bottle or dilute it a little with water if needed. I've used it both ways, and get great results. Remember to shake the bottle really well before using it, and start with a thin layer, all over your face. Let it dry; it will turn white/maybe a little chalky, but it will all be covered with your foundation. It's also a good way to make sure you cover your entire face. LOL.

 

I've seen reports, blogs, etc. talking about Celine's extensions. She's more than likely using natural virgin Indian hair, which is the most expensive type of extension, considering where it originates: Indian women cute they're hair as a donation to a deity in their country [yes, it's religious], and it is then in turn sold over-seas, mostly to celebrities and the hair-elite. LOL. It's thought that during the "long brown hair days of A New Day..." that Celine, on average, spent around $5000 per month on the hair alone, then added to the cost of having it sewn into her hair [which would either be done by her full time hair stylist, or by a specialist a few times a month]. As far as all the products go... Celine's like a lot of people and truly appears to be excited/interested in cosmetics. She was also doing the same show for 5 years in a row, and the makeup was really the only that could be changed on a nightly basis. All about options. A lot of the eye shadows and lip glossers in the photos look unused, actually. LOL. Everything that was in front of her was either a foundation, a powder, a bronzer or something used all over her face. Everything to the right of her was the color: eye shadows, lipsticks, lip glossers, shimmers, etc.

cool about the hair extensions. When i hugged her in Atlanta she put her hand on the back of my head and scratched my head.. so i guess out of sheer instinct I did the same thing to her.. NOT SMART.. I felt every extension in her beautiful head.. it was very course. didnt feel natural at all. I remember it like it was yesterday, so weird. i remember the feel of her extensions more than looking in her eyes lol. I think because I was so embarrassed that she would be like.. 'crap, did you mess it up?' hahaha. They felt thick like it was almost clipped in. i wonder if she did it any different for tour? Like we saw her a couple of time off with short stubby ponytail. hmmmm
