Yeah! Although I have to say, the first time I read about it in her book "My Story, My Dream" in 2000 the first thought was: They gifted "lousy little" diamond stars to a customer who bought nearly every piece of Chanel since decades!! Here's a better view on those earrings and some occasions, she was wearing them: 3 1

drove all night Posted October 15, 2026 at 08:32 AM Posted October 15, 2026 at 08:32 AM As I guessed: The High Jewelry necklace Céline was wearing yesterday was also re-created as a homage to the original Chanel necklace she wore in 1997. The new Comète necklace is made of platinum, 18-karat white gold, and 1,080 diamonds that totaled more than 67 carats. According to Chanel, the piece is an emblematic 1932 design from Gabrielle Chanel’s only High Jewelry collection, titled Bijoux de Diamants. The original necklace of 1997 had six comet-trails Source: https://www.vogue.com/article/celine-dion-chanel-tour-look-1997-oscars-10-14-2026?utm_brand=voguemagazine&utm_campaign=aud_dev&utm_content=instagram-bio-link&utm_medium=social&utm_social_type=owned&utm_source=instagram&utm_term=voguemagazine 2 1

Any information on what happened to the original necklace? Seems easier for Celine or Chanel to pull it out of the vault if they still had it..! Any information on what happened to the original necklace? Seems easier for Celine or Chanel to pull it out of the vault if they still had it..! Well, who knows! Since @ the Met Gala in 2017 she confessed that she insisted to attach pockets to her Versace-gown, so she can bring her ticket and a "little tissue just in case" https://youtu.be/eiZx_Ud9dDs?si=IDYECvnCJQMYCKPL ... aaand, as we do know know, she needs a "mouchoir" close at hand, so, maybe in those Chanel pockets there's her VIP badge and a mouchoir. No, seriously: Although I don't know certified, but I'm 99 % sure those are not real pockets. Just a funny little design detail And reg. the original necklace. Unfortunately so far I didn't read if she kept it or what happened to it. I'm pretty sure it wasn't auctioned off (since this would be quite huge and would not have gone unnoticed). So maybe it's still in that gigantic vault in one of her warehouses. I like to think that it was a sign of huge respect towards her by Chanel that they not only re-did the gown, but the shoes and necklace too! Edited October 15, 2026 at 12:39 PM by drove all night 2
drove all night Posted October 15, 2026 at 12:00 PM Posted October 15, 2026 at 12:00 PM Call me a "fool" (and definitively a nerd too), but somehow I'm moved, that Massaro also custom made the shoes for her yesterday's outfit, like they did in 1997. The original shoes where auctioned off in 1997 (https://www.christies.com/lot/lot-1691169?ldp_breadcrumb=back&intObjectID=1691169&from=salessummary&lid=1) Massaro, founded in 1894, cooperated with the major Couture houses, created in 1957 the most famous two-tone Chanel-shoes and became a Chanel-owned company in 1997. Unfortunately I couldn't manage to find pictures or videos of yesterday, where the shoes could be seen more clearly. So in case someone up here could help, I would highly appreciate. Hey, folks who attend her concerts: Please take pictures of her feet! 1 2
drove all night Posted October 15, 2026 at 01:53 PM Posted October 15, 2026 at 01:53 PM And now Atelier Montex also posted something additional about the Chanel dress: "For CHANEL, Atelier Montex created the embroidery for this exceptional dress worn by Céline Dion. Composed of 6,000 jewels and 5,000 beads, it unfolds in a delicate shimmer of rhinestones, glass beads, and faceted glass crystals—all embroidered using the Lunéville crochet hook and the needle. The neckline is delicately accented with raffia." PS: For those who don't know: "Raffia" are fibrous leaves of the raffia palm (Raphia), a natural material valued for being lightweight, strong, flexible, and easy to dye. 2 2

drove all night Posted October 17, 2026 at 06:57 PM Posted October 17, 2026 at 06:57 PM (edited) She's certainly one of Céline's favorite shops in Paris (like she was captured by press photographers in 2017): Fifi Chachnil, famous for her lingerie. Madame Chachnil (her real name's Delphine Véron) posted today such lovely pictures of Céline. And, yes, the nerd in me couldn't help it and try to find two of the pieces. PS: Looks like she attended Chachnil's shop on her "day off", while she was shopping at Repetto - based on the Phoebe Philo earrings which can be detected on the pictures. drove all night Posted October 18, 2026 at 07:37 PM Posted October 18, 2026 at 07:37 PM It's a little difficult to detect 100 % just from screenshots taken from a video, which was recorded in the dark and lit only by a flash. But let's say I'm 98 % sure she was wearing Saint Laurent for a surely emotional return to the hotel from her last concert yesterday night. Additional while beloved Paris was nearly drowning in horribly riots in aggression where it's hard to find words - and here's certainly not the right place to do so. 3
