That special was from early 2008, it was recorded a month before the tour started on January 12. But we don't know if the dress was picked out for the tour and she decided to use it earlier for the TV special or if it was picked for the TV special and it looked so good they decided to use it for the tour. I would say that if it was custom made, it's more likely it was made for the tour. But who knows!

It is Gianni Versace!! I just got the Deluxe-version this morning and there is a page in it with the text and I quote just like it is writing:

It was stitched in gold thread and adorned with pearls and gold sequins. And because her brother had been a longtime fan of Céline's, she accepted with pleasure.

Annie Horth told the Journal de Montreal when the tour started that Celine would wear a dress designed by Gianni Versace before he died, which would feature gold embroidery and Swarovski crystals, maybe that's where you read it Frida.

To be honest i don't like this dress at all. It looks like Tinker Bell dress :down:

 

Just a question to all of you. Do you think Celine has good taste. I mean she has a personnal stylist but when i look at Frida's pictures it seems she just wear the total outfit she saw previously on models. to be stylish doesnt mean to be able to mix different pieces to create one's own style? Why hire a personal stylist to just copy what it's already done?
