Basically someone on Celine's camp apparently read the reviews of the Manchester shows on this forum, more or less as soon as they appeared on here and read what some members thought about a certain tour outfit, and thats why it was very quickly removed and replaced! The only closeups I got of that performance were with the Azzedine Alaïa's, the night before they switched to the strappy Givenchy's. ^ it was! I'm sure Thomas can shed some light on the comments. Here are some comments from the time: The costumes I like apart from that cream/white jumper and trousers (whats she thinking? lol)omg what is that white jumper thing shes got on ??! hahaI dont like the white blousey thing and pants......makes her look too skinnyThe whilte 80's frills outfit is absolutely OUT. OF. PLACE. Something Barbara Streisand at 70 would wear.The dress must be worth a lot of money and it looks like a very cheap, misformed pyjama... I wasn't that keen on the white frilly top and pants, the pants didn't really compliment Celine's slender figure and the off the shoulder top kept slipping and Celine had to adjust it many times. When she came to sit on the piano to sing My love it had come untucked from the pants and she had to fiddle with it again before she could sit down. I don't think it will last long in this show! This was my opinion too, she was not comforable in that outfit. She spent a lot of time pulling them up at the back. But no one posted really bad comments and there were lots of comments from people who said they loved all the new costumes. Quote
