Alex_Incognito Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 At age 22 I am more worried about my career. I'd like to think that I have the rest of my life to devote to relationships. Who knows! Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990

Lymon Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Career. I'd rather have a good, solid foundation with a good career before I settle down with a wife and kids. Quote http://i51.tinypic.com/2uf4r5f.png

I am the first who said relationships??? lol.. don't worry dude... for me, of course relations are important too... but that's of a secondary importance how can you have a good carreer if you don't have someone who will back you up, support you, and listen to all the things that troubles you, that you want to tell, when you get home... also if your carreer is skyrocketing... and you have tons of work, and you're so busy... where will you find the time to look for a partner and even begin to think about 'settling down'... I wouldn't want to marry or live together with someone I would just know for a year or 2 years... and I wouldn't want to wait til after my 30ies to search for a partner and maybe settle down by 35 and having kids when i'm 38 but that might just be me Quote http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th
amelie Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 (edited) i thought the question was relationships in general...anyway its hard to answer atm, i would have said relationships (in general meaning friendships too) but i'm so disappointed in that department and i'm so left behind at university that its hard not to answer career. cause at least your career is ...yours... PS i have the same thoughts with you Davey Edited May 30, 2008 by amelie Quote

Jacqui Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 At the moment I'm single, so career is more important. If I fell in love, though, that relationship would be way more important. Quote

Black Kitten Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 i'm 21, and a proud single. i picked carreer. i can live without a partner (at the moment), but finishing college is a #1 priority for me. wish me luck. Quote

cdclore Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 Definitely my relationship. We've already put a lot on hold for each other but now that we have things in place and where we want them, we're both focussing on our careers. We're both still in our early twenties and have plans for what we want out of that field so it seems to have worked out for the best even though we were told we were crazy for doing so, at first. End the end, as corny and cliche as it sounds, love wins over money and the possibility of coming home everyday from work to find an empty home. Quote

Angel, You thrill me Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 Career. do you really NEED more children in this world? there are already enough homeless ones, just adopt. and a love life can wait, any one who is willing to give up their entire life just to be with a person they're going to be attracted to for only a short amount of time is pathetic, opportunities that are going to make you a successful human being in life are scarce, so might as well take advantage of those opportunities while you have the chance, you have a whole life time to get married and have a family, there are plenty of fish in the sea Quote http://www.lady-gaga.net/images/layout11/2.pngAlejandro Alejandro ALEALEJANDRO ALEALEJANDROOO

Hmm yeah well I'm surprised too! 98% of Céline's songs are about love, you'd think most people here would have LOVE in capitals in their brain by now! Edwin Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 Hmm, this question can be interpreted in different ways. As a single person right now, being in a relationship is NOT more important than my career. So I took the question as finding someone vs progressing in my career path. And I truly believe that love comes to those who believe it so I'm not going to place more importance in that. However, I would never put a loved one above any job, whether it was a b-friend/g-friend/family member. Quote

Ray Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I can't believe that so many people go for the carreer option... Me, I voted relationship. I was 25 when I met my husband. I had a great job, but I quit when my husband got ill and it was better for us to move and change jobs. Now we work at the same school, but on different locations. Next year I'll go to the same location, but if that wouldn't be "allowed" or wouldn't "work" I would have stayed where I am now. My relationship always comes first place. I know we live in a material world, but money is not important in my opinion. Quote Céline Dion Mariah Carey Madonna Lara Fabian Debbie Gibson Wilson Phillips Linda Eder Tina Arena Martika
