In my opinion Celine has sang so many time the same songs with so "fresh" songs to sing like:

Oh my God you ban songs that people want to listen

 

However, "I'm Alive", "We Will Rock You", "Soul Medley" should be replaced by "That's The Way It Is", "If You Asked Me To" and "A New Day Has Come"(remix)

 

 

On French section, "J'irai Ou Tu Iras" and "Destin" should be replaced by "L'amour Existe Encore" and "Sous Le Vent" This is the no.1 song in France she never sings live.

I know that she has sung 'Because you loved me' 'The power of love' and other very popular songs very often but honestly I don't mind to listen them again and again. It's so great to be on the Show and be able to listen her live and really see her.

However it would be totally awesome to listen to other songs, like 'You and I', 'Declaration of love', and would love to listen her singing: 'Le Blues Du Businessman' and her very first song written by her mum 'Ce n'était qu'un rêve' ('It was only a dream') and so many other songs!!!

Hehe, I would love to listen all songs!

The holy trinity of playback, aka Power of love, to love you more, IACBTMN should be banned forever unless she decides to sing them again, which would mean adapting them to new versions, maybe accoustic, or less histrionic.

You have to remember that a large number of people at the shows have not kept track of Celine and what she's been doing since she "retired" in 1999. They only want to hear her older songs and just don't recognise the newer stuff. I was sitting next to just such a couple in Birmingham. They danced and sang along to the older songs but hadn't a clue regarding the Taking Chances songs and sat down! They didn't even recognise Pour Que Tu M'aime Encore! Sacrilege in my opinion and, sadly, they weren't alone.

I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of nasty replies for this but I cannot stand MHWGO and I wish it were taken out of the tour, but I know that will never happen. If it weren't so overplayed and over performed I would still like the song because it really is a beautiful song. I loved it when it came out, and I remember being 13 years old and calling all the local radio stations to request it when it first came out. I guess maybe if she moved it so it weren't last all the time, then it wouldn't be such a big deal. She's sung it as an encore for LTAL and a AND, and I'm SO tired of it.

 

I would love to hear more than one french song in the U.S but I doubt that will happen since a lot of fans do not take the time to listen and appreciate the french music. I love PQTME even though it's overdone like MHWGO. I know very little french, but I know Celine sounds so much better in french since it is her roots. I love D'elles and I wish I could hear some songs from it performed. I surprised she has not added more songs from this album and 1 fille/4 types to french leg of the tour.

 

I would also love to hear That's the Way It Is, Surprise Surprise, Fade Away, That's Just the Woman In Me, You and I.

 

I wish the BYLM, TLYM, IABTMN medley was gone too...but we all know that won't happen, too many fans come just to hear those songs. I'm excited that ABM is back as well as RDMH. I never got to see RDMH in vegas because I went before it was added, so I'm really looking forward to it. I think I'm Your Angel should be replaced with Beauty and the Beast. BATB was the first song I ever heard of Celine's, and I've never seen her perform it live.

 

Overall I feel like this tour is very similar to LTAL, and don't get me wrong, I loved the LTAL tour, but I wish we could have more new songs performed...Celine needs to take some chances!

She shouldn't be singing Queen medley and the soul interlude is unnecessary (i would prefer a video interlude, like the one before i'm alive)

 

She should sing: One heart, A new day has come, have ever been in love, je t'aime encore (any version), more songs from D'elles and 1F&4T, surprise surprise.

 

And i would like her to sing better the end of shadow of love. The album version is soooooo kool, but the end of the live version is so "i'm gonna sing whatever comes out of my mouth".... lol... so is not that nice.

Generally speaking I am happy with the current set list for the tour aside from both the Queen section and the Soul section. The concert isn't actually that long and to have 15 minutes taken up with other artists material (for no reason at all) is disappointing. At least in Vegas, the Sinatra tribute made sense.

I went to the show in Birmingham and it was brilliant although i was disappointed she didnt sing

1) A new day has come

2) I surrender

I didnt like the soul section very much, although she sang it brilliantly just would loved her to sing her own songs.

I have hated this song for years, ever since hearing her sing it in Vegas, but when i heard it on the tour i absolutely LOVED it! Totally agree - It works!

 

I would ditch, To Love You More, and replace it with, If You Asked Me To.

 

And Pour que tu m'aimes encore, as much as i love it, should be replaced with any one of her new songs from D'elles.

 

I know she has to keep her well known songs for the luke-warm fans, but there really should be a higher quota of songs taken from her new album.

As long as Celine performs on tour, songs such as Because You Loved Me, It's All Coming Back To Me Now, The Power of Love, To Love You More, and My Heart Will Go On will always be part of the set list. As much as some people may want to listen to something else, these songs are Celine's classic songs. Without them, a Celine concert would just not be a Celine concert.

 

However, I am very glad Celine is singing All By Myself on this current tour. Out of all the songs that we speculated for the tour, never did I imagine Celine would sing this on tour again. I am very glad she continues to sing this song!

 

In the mean time, I would like to see Celine perform Can't Fight the Feelin' and That's Just the Woman in Me again... Why were they excluded from the set list after the first leg of the tour ended in Australia?

 

Perhaps Fade Away could be included more often on the set list... This Time would also be a good option. And I would also like Celine to sing Think Twice more often as well!
