Still no news from the hotel where she is staying... My press contacts don't have any clue where she could be staying...

 

Even the plane is still in London if the planetracker is correct :lol:

OK,

 

She's currently in Belgium, the plane has allready landed in Antwerp.

 

She's scheduled to leave on friday before 23h00. However, if the show on friday is running late her plane will be transferred to Brussels International Airport to leave from there.

 

But not a word from the hotel yet... :(

Thank you for these infors, Bralo! :D So this means she's in Belgium already and she will leave Belgium immediately after the last show? Sounds she won't sleep in Belgium from Friday to Saturday than. Guess she will go to France than already, hehe! :D

 

Oh, and your new camera sounds amazing! I still have my old Canon and i'm not sure if I will even try to take pics at the concert with it cause it has only 3x digital zoom and 3,2 MPix. It still makes brilliant pix outdoors though. :)

It would be a pitty if she leaves Antwerp on friday.... and about the show it is always running late!!! But we will see.. And she is NOT taking the train she took the plain to Antwerp so she probb will fly to Paris also, as she said before she will fly to and from paris the rest of the tour unless it is more than 90 min flight..

 

I also heard she left the hotel around 5 for a sound check... My friends are in Antwerp so as soon as I know something I keep you posted

The plane is booked to leave on friday evening immediately after the concert ends. However, this must be before 23h00 otherwise the airport will be closed. When the show is running late the plane will leave empty and make a flight to Brussels International were it will pick up Céline Dion. If the show is running late Céline will be transported by car to Brussels International where her jet will be waiting.

 

She is definately leaving on friday evening, no question about that. It all depends when the show is finished where she will be leaving. It could be Antwerp but it could be Brussels also. Time will tell ;)

 

And yes, she arrived in Antwerp by plane. Unfortunately I waited to long to call arround for some information otherwise I could have taken pictures when she left her jet (have some contacts on the Belgian airports ;)). Thanks to the stupid tracking site where the plane is still on the ground at London :(

 

Maybe some other time ;)

 

Can't wait till tommorow for the concert B)

How does everyone get pics of her getting on and off her jet? The airports here do not allow anyone pass security unless you are flying then too. :mellow:

For Antwerp there aren't any pictures (as far as I know) from here leaving or entering her jet. However, there will be probably pictures of her jet wich will appear later.

 

How you could make pictures on the tarmac? It's quit simple actually. Some people are having a permission to carry a camera on the tarmac and take pictures. Sometimes those pictures are leaked :) And sometimes people are granted to take pictures if you know the right way ;)

 

A long time ago I have visited a Belgian airport (private tour) and had the permission to take pictures on the whole area. You just have to know the way ;)

Even on the international airport of Oakland I was granted a permission to take pictures when I visited it about 1 and a half years back.

 

And after this there is always a possibility to take pictures through the fence if you have the right equipment...

There isn't any pics yet, I was just speaking about the ones already taken from previous shows...

 

The U.S. is much different than that. You can know all the people who work for an airport, but you still aren't getting in. Security is TIGHT here. They strictly stick to it, too. If you have a plane ticket, THEN you can go through security, but even at that, once through security, they even have you take off your shoes and laptops out of bags and everything...it's crazy, so I suppose there will be no Celine airport pics from the U.S. once she gets here. (Unless someone from here is a pilot that happens to be parked next to her) :laugh:

No she is not... Her plane is scheduled to leave Belgium on Friday the earliest. Not today, not tommorow, not the day after but on friday evening.

So she should be staying in Antwerp.

Security is also very thight in Belgium however there are always possibilities to get on the tarmac. You just have to know the right man on the right place. And even then you will have to pass security. For example when entering the airport of Brussels you will have to pass a security check which you can only pass with an access card. At this point you have access to the cargo site of the airport, but also to the runways. When going to the other site of the airport (passenger) you will have to pass a security check again. This time you will have to walk through a metaldetector and you luggage (if any) is being checked while you vehicle is also checked. You could bring photographic equipment at this point when you have a permit. To get an access card you will need to know someone. I visited several airports but always with somebody who is familiar with the airport and has a permit to drive a vehicle inside the property (which you don't get easily).

 

In Oakland, California it was even easier to get on the tarmac, we never had to pass a security check nor needed an access card. Only knowing the right man on the right place. (at that time we were with 10 friends ;))

 

So there is always a oppurtunity to get into the airport property if you know anyway and even if the security is very tight... :whistling:
