Celine Art Masterpiece

Hi 4celine,

Thank you very much for your comment. I'm glad when other people enjoy my work (it's not really work, it's more like play).

It took me a minute to realize what the picture you wanted me to try was and then I realized it is the picture that Jack drew of Rose in "Titanic" and I thought "What a great choice of a picture!!"

I have given it a whirl, but I used PhotoPlus 8 instead of Photoshop, just to try it out. I recently downloaded PhotoPlus 8 and I am not as familiar with it. The tool sets and filters are a little different than in Photoshop, so it took me a little getting used to. Let me know what you think.

Thank you. it's great. but i think you do it better with the other photoshop you used in the other pics. i would really like to know how to do the same.

I'll try to color it... i've done it one time but in the original one...

Soloni,

Thank you very much for your nice comment. :blushing1: I appreciate the feedback. I am always on the lookout for more famous paintings or artwork that I could put Celine in, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Hi 4celine,

Hello 4celine, I agree. I get a lot more control over the tools in Photoshop than in PhotoPlus 8, which, seeing as how PhotoPlus 8 is a lot less expensive than Photoshop, is not that surprising. I am contemplating trying this in Photoshop. Thank you for the feedback.

Also, I really like the effect that you got with the picture of Celine riding the horse with "Rose" in the water. The way I do a lot of the things in Photoshop that I do is to go into the Filters and see if any of them apply a look similar to the original picture. I also wind up doing a lot of cloning. I can be time consuming, but when you get it right, it's like "Eureka!!!!" I get really excited when they come out well. So I like some better than others, but all in all it is teaching me a lot about Photoshop. I have never tried these techniques in other things I've done in Photoshop, so Celine is teaching me a new skill and I just love it!!

Hello again, 4celine,

I took the jpg I created from PhotoPlus 8 and brought it into Photoshop CS and touched up the color and texture a little bit using the clone tool. I also toned down her smile a little bit to make her look a little more mysterious. Here's the two side by side. You decide if it's better. I didn't want to totally start over with this, so I just touched up the jpg from the PhotoPlus 8.

Thanks so much for the encouragement!!

what pic have you used for this?

Can you post it here?

I wanna to try :D

Here is the original picture of Celine that I brought into the Rose picture. It is from the "Miracle" photoshoot. I have used a different picture of Celine for the different art "masterpieces". I wanted them all to look a little different.

I can't wait to see what you do with it. Let me know if you need any pointers.

Thanks, Snowhite!! I'm glad you like them. I'll have to see what other artworks I can find that look like they would fit well with Celine. It is a challenge to do these, but I really enjoy it. The hours fly by when I work on them. It seems like just a few minutes, but I look at the time when I'm done and a lot more time has passed than I thought. It's also a great way to relax. Plus, I get to use both the left and right sides of my brain when working on digital graphics on the computer.

Here are two more Celine Art Masterpieces. One of them is Botticell's Venus (Rising from the Sea) and the other, which may be a little dark for this forum is Edvard

Munch's The Scream.

Speaking honestly, I love the first, third and the titantic one but I don't really enjoy the second one or the last two. I don't like her facial expressions in them but I know nothing about photoshop so....nice job though. Hope this helped you some. Please don't get mad at me though. I'm just stating my opinion and I tried to do it as nicely as I could. :)

I never get mad at people expressing their opinions. I appreciate your honesty and I know that not everyone will like the graphics I have done with Celine. As far as the expressions on her face, a lot of time I can't control what her expression is because I have to look to find pictures of her with her head and face aspect similar to the original artwork, so I am limited by the expression on her face in that particular picture that "fits". I could try to change her expression, but that could be difficult without messing up the whole picture.

But I'm glad that you like some of them. As I said in an earlier post, I am using Celine to learn Photoshop and she has taught me a lot over what I knew before I started doing these Celine Art Masterpieces.

Thank you for commenting. That's the important part! There's nothing more disappointing to see that people have read the topic, but no one comments. It makes you wonder if they hate it, or are just unimpressed, or just don't want to make a comment.

Thank you all for your very nice comments. I have not done some of these in awhile, but I did put Celine in some pictures of historical figures. Here are those. First, Celine as Cleopatra:

Next, here's Celine as Marie Antoinette:

Let me know what you think of these new additions and, again, thank you all for the nice comments.

Although not a real person, The Statue of Liberty is a well known historical figure, so I thought I'd see how Celine would look as Lady Liberty.

It's been a long time since I have photoshopped Celine into any works of art of famous people or into famous paintings. I posted the "Celine Antoinette" piece on my Deviant Art site and someone commented that it was unfortunate that I put Celine on someone who was as unsympathetic a historical figure as Marie Antoinette. She suggested that I put her into a painting of the Marquise de Pompadour, aka Madame Pompadour, instead, so she sent me links to some images to try. So I put one together and posted it on DA and now I thought I would post it here, too. I hope you like it.

Thank you so very much, SandyCeline, for the really nice comments! I'm thrilled you like them. I am never too sure how my photoshopping of Celine will go over with the forum because they are not the typical Celine walls or sigs, like using pics of her performing or from photoshoots. But I have so much fun with these that, every now and then, I feel the need to photoshop Celine into other famous people or works of art. And I thought this picture of Madame Pompadour would be a perfect one to use. I thought the painting was really lovely and Celine just "fit" right into it. I had to do very little photoshopping on this one compared to some of the others.
