ashleylovesceline Posted August 27, 2008 at 07:54 AM Posted August 27, 2008 at 07:54 AM Sorry, I have no answers about the Hot Sound Package - but I'll be in Cleveland, front row! Hard to believe it's less than a month away! Quote
canadachick Posted August 28, 2008 at 01:32 PM Posted August 28, 2008 at 01:32 PM I have Hot Sound tickets for Nashville in January. I got a package the other day with two Taking Chances World Tour duffle bags and two passes on a lanyard. It sounds like the gift is the same, but I'm wondering more about what happens at the concert itself. Ejion Posted September 4, 2008 at 03:51 AM Posted September 4, 2008 at 03:51 AM I bought the Gold Hot Seat package for Celine's September 27th concert in Toronto. They sent me 2 duffel bags that says "CELINE DION: TAKING CHANCES WORLD TOUR 2008-2009" and 2 tags that says "Hot seat package Celine Dion:Taking Chances (front side) and on the other side it says "Hot seat package Celine Dion:Taking Chances NO ADMISSION TO VENUE WITHOUT TICKET. NO BACKSTAGE PASS NOT FOR RESALE." Does anyone know if backstage passes were available for the Toronto concerts? and if there are any other 'surprises' for the hot seat package buyers at the venue? Thanks Quote
minniemare5 Posted September 8, 2008 at 02:10 AM Posted September 8, 2008 at 02:10 AM Hey guys, I have the hot sound package for Detroit, and I was wondering for those who have gone to sound checks before, what time should I arrive? I received my souvenir bags and lanyard in the mail yesterday, but no directions other than to pick up tickets at will call. Does anyone know what time Celine does her sound check? Also, does anyone know what time she leaves her hotel (generally)? Thanks, Deborah Quote

Thanks As far as I'm concerned, there were no backstage passes available commercially for ANY concert of the tour. The only chance you get kinda backstage pass is when you win a meet&greet but these were not available commercially either (apart from those very few charity auctions). They are only available to contest winners etc. So to make it short: there was simply no chance to just go and buy you a meet&greet/backstage pass. minniemare5 Posted September 25, 2008 at 11:47 PM Posted September 25, 2008 at 11:47 PM (edited) So I still haven't received an email about what time to arrive at the soundcheck, and the concert's tomorrow. My dad called the Palace today and the first person he talked to knew nothing about, he was on hold for 10 minutes, and the second person said 6pm. 6pm seems a bit late to me, especially if Celine does her soundchecks at 5pm. Anyone have any advice? I'm going to call 1-866-504-5113 tomorrow and ask. That's the number in the bottom of the email I originally got. -Deborah Edited September 25, 2008 at 11:47 PM by minniemare5 Quote
A New Day Has Come Posted September 26, 2008 at 01:01 AM Posted September 26, 2008 at 01:01 AM You get two Tote Bags that are really nice by the way I just got my today and its extremely nice trust me. I love the tote bags allot. Quote
minniemare5 Posted September 26, 2008 at 03:14 PM Posted September 26, 2008 at 03:14 PM So I called ticketmaster today to ask about the sound check that I paid $800 for...and find out that somehow I bought the Gold package, NOT the Hot Seat package, and the gold package does not include the soundcheck. I have no idea how it got messed up because I would have never ordered the one without the soundcheck. When I ordered the tickets there were only two options. It's too late to do anything about it now, so my mom and I spent $800 for a bag, a laminate that gets me no where, and 5th row seats that I could gotten for $150. I'm sorry everyone, but I just have to vent! I love Celine, but I seriously feel like TeamCeline has ripped me off big time! I know there's nothing any of you can do about it, but I really need your support. -Deborah Quote
tonto247 Posted January 6, 2009 at 04:24 PM Posted January 6, 2009 at 04:24 PM I have a Hot Sound Package for me and my wife. I bought out tickets on Nov 27,2007 through Ticketmaster in Houston, Texas. Apparently they only sell about 40-50 tickets. I guess I was just lucky to get it. It includes the sound check which has been commented here on another post. You get laminated lanyard of some sort, pre-show party with drinks and food, some kind of special gift from Celine, on site staff - this was told to my by ticketmaster - you will have staff that can get you things from the concession stand so you do not have to leave your seat while the concert is going on, and special parking if avail at the arena you are at. From the comments on the sound check is sounds great. The one in Sydney said that there was only 45 people and they sat right up to the stage and she sang about 7 or 8 songs, one being an elton John song. She was without makeup and really goofed off a lot and had fun and interacted with them. Thats about all I know and we are looking forward to it. This will be our first Celine concert. Quick question. What do you wear to a Celine concert????? I am sure some people dress from suits to jeans. Quote

I actually got my email from celine dion staff and a phone call. It said we had to be there at 430pm and sound check would be at 530pm for a 7pm concert. Let us know how it went Quote
