Those going just be aware that Celine starts at 8pm (unlike the other concerts where Anthony started at 8pm) I recommend people also arrive in time to watch Anthony Callea perform he was brilliant as well!! I think there must have been at least 20,000 people there, roughly. But it was splendid. I do have one criticism tho, and it is no way Celine's fault, in fact she apologised for it... but the screens on the side of the stage were not working. Well they were working for the support act, but as soon as Celine came on stage... they stopped working. You could see they tried to fix it for a while because it flashed a few times. But somehow they never worked for the whole concert. This was very frustrating because i was sitting to the side of the stage, so i couldn't see the screen at the back. So I watched the whole concert from a distance, I never saw the expression on her face or anything. It was very disappointing. But like I said, no way it was Celine's fault. She actually tried to cover for a bit by talking for longer because perhaps she thought the technicians could fix it right away, but no success there. Despite all that, I had a fab time. I have a few photos which I will post tomorrow. Cameras were strictly forbidden, so I was lucky to photograph what I did. My photos are not that great anyway! Oh and Celine's Mother was in the audience tonight, and her son. So nice. I had a fantastic time. More tomorrow! Surely there must be other people on this forum that went to the concert tonight. Your review of faaaaaaantastic!! does really sum up the whole evening, but why stop there! Words like 'Awesome' and 'Spectacular' also spring to mind! The whole night was perfect, even the weather cleared up for our singing superstar!Sorry you didn't get to watch the screens at either side, I noticed one was working to the left of stage, but they seemed to turn it off to balance things up a bit. I was lucky enough to be centre stage just rows from the front, and never took my eyes off Celine long enough to really notice the screens not working! I got there early to listen to the soundcheck, although I had to stand outside and listen, as I couldn't find anyone to let me in as hard as I tried. But i could just see the screens from outside while she sang, so I got an extra 6 songs into the bargain! All in all a superb night, I espescially enjoyed Eyes On Me, and To Love You More is always a favourite. She looked fantastic with every costume change. This was the 7th time I've seen her in concert over the years, and she just seems to get more stunning and the show just gets better! Quote Hey I'm New here, and cant figure out these signatures!

Brilliant!" comments. Sometimes I find that people get mesmerized by the screens anyway and you can come away feeling that you just watched a concert on t.v. I'm sure you felt her powerful presence, the magic that is Celine, and I know you won't forget that for a very long time. It didn't mean that she was false. I thought it was actually quite a praising review- Celine is still being revered for her voice after every show in every country. I hope the UK reviews will be so kind re. the Queen tribute- I think there'll be some slagging here! But I hope she still does it, especially so Dad can see her sing Freddie- he's a big fan Quote

Although bear in mind that it is a soccer oval, and in my opinion it is not really suitable for world class performers such as Celine. The seats are too spread out and because it is open air, it loses atmosphere. That is just what I think, I guess some people would disagree with me. There is no worries with that. Another observation I made last night, which you can most probably blame on the technicians as well, but when Celine's voice became loud, such as when she hit a high note, the speakers sort of started ringing. I thought this is why they had sound checks! I think we can put all these issues down to one thing, the fact that it is a soccer oval and not an arena. Celine deserved better, I think. But not to dwell on the negative, I don't like to do that, I thought the performance was absolutely brilliant, as I said before. I have some photos to show you as well. I managed to avoid getting arrested, as the security threatened to do if they caught u taking photos. My photos are very bad btw. I was too far away, and my camera has sea salt on it! So you can get a rough idea...
