yeah..Tam is there for the Mar 29th's - definitely some rearrangement needed to be done now with the rescheduling.

AUSTRALIAN TOUR WILL GO AHEAD ON NEW SCHEDULE

 

Due to a continuing illness Celine Dion will not be able to perform at her Sydney concerts.

 

Since arriving in Australia Celine has been suffering from a respiratory tract infection which has caused bronchial and laryngeal inflammation.

 

As the illness has not fully responded to treatment with appropriate antibiotics, inhaled therapy and rest, earlier today Celine was examined by a prominent Sydney respiratory specialist who has advised that with a further 48 hours of treatment and rest she will make a complete recovery and can resume performing at her best.

 

Accordingly it will be necessary to reschedule the Sydney and Perth performances.

 

The Sydney concerts will now be performed on Saturday April 5 & Sunday April 6 at Acer Arena.

 

The Perth concert will be performed on Tuesday, April 8 at Members Equity Stadium.

 

The Brisbane and Melbourne concerts will go ahead on the revised dates previously announced.

 

 

"I've been looking forward to doing these shows for so long... I'm really sorry to disappoint my fans this weekend... but I can't wait to see them on the new dates", Celine said earlier today.

 

Celine's Australian tour itinerary will now become:

this will have a snowball effect on all the other dates aswell then yeh? so i think all other dates will get pushed back aswell.

That just doesn't sound so minor to me. For everyone else it would just be a nasty cold but for Céline as a singer, it's just a huge deal. The first thing to go is the voice and with Céline it's all about the voice. If her vocal chords are strained and she goes on stage, they will only get worse.

We all knew that with that long a tour, she'd get sicked eventually. It was inevitable. Everyone hopes that she won't be sick when she's in their town but it had to happen eventually and it will happen again.

With the constant climate change, the hours on the plane with the air conditioning and the exhausting from performing and traveling she would get sick at times. Let's just hope that she'll never have to CANCEL shows.

Do you think Celines illness may affect dates of her concerts in UK. I've got a ticket to see her on 2nd May in Manchester and 3 days later I am going on holiday. Everything booked and payed, can't change dates. I will have to kill myself if I don't see her. I have been waiting so long.
