yeah replace IYA and LCMM with other great songs... TTWII, Simply The Best, Skies Of La, WTWOLYR, TR,

and no MHWGO as encore... lol... after MHWGO she has to sing another songs with a bombastic ending, that would leave you like crazy!!

the last times in Vegas you get al hyped up from RDMH, and then she sings a ballad, and thats the end...

 

She has to leave the building divalicious... fireworks, dancing, dark...

I want an unpredtictable encore, a song which given the impression of being choosed that very night. Most prefferebly an acoustic calm song. I could even imagine My Love being the encore.

 

MHWGO being the encore, isn't a real encore... what are thy tryin to achieve? "Helloo hello, you thought we had forgot this song eh?"

 

Saving her greatest hit to the extra number takes away all defintion of a extra number...

 

Diana Krall had the best encore ever a couple of years ago at Hovet, Stockholm. She returned alone, without her band, to the stage and pulled off 4-5 emotional songs, very personal, very intimate, only her and hr piano.

I like that the setlist keeps changing a bit! That way there's still a little element of surprise for the show, even with the predictable numbers that will ALWAYS be in the same places.

 

Especially for those of us in Boston - it'll be the first US show, so we really have no way of guessing which songs will be included! Although I would LOVE it if ANDHC is still in the show at that point... and I agree with everyone who said they want LCMM to be OUT!! She should replace it with TTWII!

LCMM is a great song because all audiences can be on tour with her. IYA is a really beautiful because it is newly arranged. It is not boring as I expected.

Korean Adoptee Returns in Triumph -- With Celine Dion

After finishing her first-day performance at the Olympic Gymnastics Gymnasium in Seoul on Tuesday evening, super diva Celine Dion brought the leader of her eight backup dancers, with whom she is traveling for her "Taking Chances World Tour 2008," center stage. It was an Asian woman. When her face appeared on the big monitor screens, she was all smiles and said hello to the audience.

 

Then she burst into tears. It was her first visit to Korea since she had been adopted by her American family 32 years ago. Her name is Addie Yungmee George. Some 8,000 audience members were visibly moved.

 

 

"It was the best moment in my life. The world's best singer introduced me to the audience," George is crying again -- of joy as well as of sadness over her childhood. But she smiles finally when she says, "I'd never cried onstage before. Dancers cry only when they make a mess of a performance by tripping over or making a wrong move."

Dion Gives Powerful Performance

 

(8:00 p.m. GMT) As a part of her year-long ``Taking Chances World Tour,'' Canadian superstar Celine Dion, rocked the stage of Seoul's Gymnastics Stadium at the Olympic Park on Tuesday and Wednesday night for the first time since 1997. The eager audience burst into applause and cheers as she opened the night with a powerful performance of ``I Drove All Night.'' Familiars, such as ``It's All Coming Back to Me Now,'' ``Because You Loved Me'' and ``The Power of Love'' followed, as well as the song ``Taking Chances'' from her new album with the same name.

 

While taking her first breather from the set, Dion stated, ``I'm so happy to be here, it's been over 10 years since we were here last time. It's been too long…for this tour, there were so many countries we wanted to go to… I wanted to do things right (for this tour), and I wanted to make sure that I came to Seoul to perform for you.''

 

There were a total of four sets, with each one introduced by agile and colorful dancers wearing outfits matching each theme. Dion showed off an amazing repertoire of 24 rock, pop and soul songs, singing with powerful yet controlled tones, and hitting the high notes with . All eyes were on Dion, as she single handedly captivated the audience for two hours with her demanding presence and energetic movements.

 

In between songs, Dion impressed the crowd with her Korean, bringing cheers for every ``gamsa-hamnida'' (thank you) and an extra loud one for ``gibun-joayo'' (I feel good). Never failing to amaze, Dion performed two encores in response to the overwhelming applause with ``River Deep, Mountain High'' and ``My Heart Will Go On'' ? her voice resonating through the sea of people as she emerged wearing a flowing yellow gown for her finale.

 

As the show wound down, Dion remarked ``You are a wonderful audience'' to the throng of fans after minutes of a standing ovation. She then hushed the crowd after thanking the audience, and her supporting crew, by sharing an emotional story of one of her dancers. Dion introduced Addie Yungmee George, an accomplished dancer and South Korean adoptee who left Korea when she was only two. George ? who has toured with the likes of Cher and Madonna, and danced for Hollywood blockbuster movies ? was moved to tears as the crowd welcomed her back to Seoul, her birthplace, for the very first time since she left 32 years ago.

 

After a gracious thank you to the crowd and Dion, the spotlight moved back to the superstar as she gave a final deep bow and waved goodbye for the night. The next leg of Celine Dion's tour takes her ``Down Under'' to New Zealand and Australia. The rigorous ``Taking Chances World Tour'' will travel to more than 100 cities in 25 countries for an impressive 120 shows.
