i think LeAnn Rimes can out-sing Carrie anytime. i mean if u heard LeAnn's "Are You Ready For A Miracle"... im not quite sure if Carrie can top that performance... and Carrie's a bit nasal; sounds strained singing higher notes.

but Carrie's hot and is under better people. her 2 albms were great ...great songs, very well written!!

i liked Carrie from the time she was on AI. she was pretty and sounded very natural. dare i say Carrie's take on Heart's "Alone" was miles superior to Celine's [its my opinion and i stand by it]. but i was rooting for Bo to win 'coz Carrie was inconsistent through-out the competition ...sometimes verging on boring!!! but she earned my respect when she thanked AI not only at CMAs but at AMAs and Grammys ...unlike the first winner [im not a hater though]

Carrie's developed a lota personality these days ...and much better stage presence; thats makin her very very appealing!! Carrie sounded amazing singing "Just Stand Up" along-side all the major divas [i wont include those goat singers] ...she upped herself in their league!!!

personally im not really that crazy about "Some Hearts" albm. "Some Hearts" was a solid albm with great songs. "jesus take the wheel" is good; great lyrics, touching video ...but personally it bored me!! "Before he cheats" is a hit but not my cup of tea. i liked the title track "Some Hearts". "I Just Can't Live a Lie" ...now THAT one, i ve listened to it like the 100millionth time. now why didnt they release it as a single. i was doing this when i got the karaoke of "I Just Can't Live a Lie"!!!! couldnt stop singing along to it.

i liked "Carnival Ride" better!!! the moment i saw the "So Small" video, i knew i was gonna buy this. most of the songs are very very emotional. the best song for me is "Wheel of the World" ..."its the wheeeeeeeeeeeeeel of the woooorld....."!!!! why didnt they include "Ever Ever After" ?

the best Carrie song i like is "Oh Love" [with Brad Paisley]. MANNN!!!! i got chills and it moved me to tears. ive never heard Carrie sound better than this.

Carrie Underwood is F***ING HOT! But... her music isn't really something I would obess over. I like a few songs here and there, but honestly not the best ever. But I still love her nonetheless. She's gorgeous, after all.

I like Carrie's music but I don't much care for her as a person. She's developed an ego and I roll my eyes at most things she says or does... getting into petty disagreements with Jessica Simpson is lame.

 

I prefer Martina McBride... her voice is better (none of that nasal nonsense) and she's a good person.

eveyone's got the right to develop a personality .as long as she dont talk nasty about someone im cool with that. the thing is that its not easy after going thru all of that pressure being a celebrity and don a plastic smile all the time. Carrie's one of the hottest celebrities in the music industry today; at the time, her star appeal is not limited to country genre alone. she need to live up to it and act like a star. i like Carrie a lot better now than the dumb 'farm-boat' blonde girl image she had before; she looks confident. however i hope she wont go more 'divaish' than what she is now.

talk about the Jessica Simpson issue, its no secret that the 'real reason' is Tony Romo !! ...and as far i know its Jessica who act in double-meaning ways to slam Carrie . Carrie didnt even bother to wear a 'eat veg, get healthy' t-shirt in response to Jessica's 'real girls eat meat' t-shirt !!! i dont think its fair to judge Carrie bcoz someone else decided to pick up on her

Are you serious, about the Jess thing? I've never once heard Jessica say anything nasty about Carrie, yet Carrie keeps making sarcastic comments about Jess, and b*tchy remarks about Tony calling her, etc.

 

Believe me, I don't think Jessica should have worn that T-shirt; I'm a vegetarian myself, so I was quite disgusted with her about that! But I really don't believe that had anything to do with Carrie. She said the owner of a steak restaurant or something gave her that T-shirt and she thought it was funny so she wore it. How the heck would Jess know what Carrie does or doesn't eat, anyway?

 

Whatever, I think they're both talented...I prefer Jess by a mile, but I love that Carrie loves animals so much!

I didn't know she was recording another album. Though it makes perfect sense that she is. Can't wait for it's release. Maybe I'll get to go to one of her shows. I almost got tickets for her last show, but I waited too long and those row five on the floor seats we're snatched up. I'm going to Taylor Swift's concert, but right now I have that feeling of she (and Carrie) are no Celine. I want to see Celine instead!

C.A.T.S. - Checotah Animal, Town, and School Foundation

 

Carrie has established a newly created fund to help with causes in her hometown area of Checotah, Oklahoma, the C.A.T.S. - Checotah Animal, Town, and School Foundation.

 

Carrie says, “My hometown is extremely supportive of me and I feel blessed to be able to create something as a way of giving back; to say thank you.”

 

Established in 2009, the C.A.T.S. Foundation will help with general causes, needs and services in the area of Checotah to directly impact the community. Private resources will fund the assistance. Information on the C.A.T.S. Foundation’s first donation to the Checotah community will be announced soon.

Yeah Carrie really desereved the Entertainer of the Year, so glad she won it.

Well taylor swift is no Celine or Carrie. No Ofense to any taylor swift fans but she cannot sing, but is a good entertainer. Carrie's vocals are very good/amazing live. Ive gone to one of her concerts and i can tell you it wont be a waste.

That's an awesome cover!!! She looks so pretty. I'm excited for the album. Only thing is it seems a little plan text wise. I'm glad that she's co-hosting again, she and Brad make a good hosting couple. Watching CMA Fest, can't wait to see Carrie and Sugarland. Oh and Kellie, Martina, Reba, Brad, Taylor, Lady A, and Julianne. How I love the CMA Fest!
