A Celine album you don't like?

For me it`s - One Heart - but I would not say that I hate it but I don`t listen to it very often.

I can't understand why people hate it! It's upbeat, modern and fresh.

 

Miracle has to be my least favourite because it's just Celine going on about being a mother but in the form of an album IMO!

Really few songs of these cds are worth listening

It seems that Miracle is the least favourite of Céline's albums. I must say that I don't like it very much either. I think I've listened to it not more than twice, and I might have not been in the mood that fits this album. I promise I'll give it another try.

 

My second least fav is Let's Talk About Love. Actually, I didn't even want to buy it, the only thing I still did is that it was pretty cheap in a music store in Holland. There are a few songs I like listening to, but the majority of them are too sentimental to my taste.

 

The other English albums are okay, my very favourites are the French ones, though.

hmm i'd have to say i'm very fond of LTAL some of the songs were a bit boring and not strong enough to show off celine's voice

 

and her very early ones i'm not too keen on but she was only young back then

She could probably do a whole album of her gargling her songs and using the whole my heart will go on bit on Wetten Dass as a music video and I would still be happy as a clam haha.

As a whole, I don't care for LTAL, OH, or Miracle. I don't really connect with as many of the songs on those albums as I do with other albums.

I dont actually dislike any album, I have favourites - ones which I have listened to thousands of times more than others, but I dont hate any particular.

I know most people have said "one Heart" or "Miracle" but they are just on a different level and style to her other albums.

 

I have many favourite songs on those albums, but When Celine has a new CD, I will buy it and listen to it and mostly all the songs become catchy and memorable.

 

I do have to say though, "One Heart" is the album I have listened to the least, I only listen to the songs she released from it now.

Hmmmm.... I agree with you but I prefer having "Miracle" since it's a great collaboratiopn with Anne Geddess and the album was dedicated for children.

I think Celine is magnificent, however, I have to agree what "Miracle" is probably the album that I would toss if given and ultimatum. Not because of the concept as others have stated because I think the concept was beautiful, but because the songs for the most part just were not up to par with her caliber of work.

I hate One Heart, it's not only my least album, but also this album has been a very huge deception for me (except I Drove all night). The music, the rhytm, where is the heart of Celine since his debut of career? The

 

Also, i'm not a fan of the albums 1 Fille & 4 types, C'est pour toi and Miracle.

It's probably sacrilege to say, but there's only 2 of her English albums (Unison and TC) that I more or less like from beginning to end. All the others have a few gems on them (RTD! FITY! IACBTMN! ANDHC!), but I don't really care about them as a whole.

 

I must add it's very rare for me to like an entire album, no matter the artist. But I do love every French album Céline's released since '95. Some of them 100% start to finish, like D'Elles/1F&4T/D'Eux/SSDA.

I've heard all the songs, that's why I can say I don't like it. But still, I plan to buy it for my collection. I want in CD format, not digital format.

It’s hard to have a favorite Celine Dion album for the sole reason that you like all the songs, the whole of it. Mostly all of them have fillers and very few can have the honor to say they’re well crafted from beginning to end.

 

She’s more an artist to have a great array of songs which form a collection of great songs individually considered but as per full albums... most of them look like collection of songs with no concept nor common link between them.

 

I can only save in this regard ANDHC and interestingly, These Are Special Times

I need to be in a special mood when I listen to it. It's not really that odd though, it's a baby themed album.

 

But even Miracle has some diamonds.

Yeah exactly. There’s not an album I dislike in its entirety, just least favourites.

For me English would probably be Miracle and A New Day Has Come/Lets Talk About Love.

French would probably be Sans Attendre and D’elles.

Yes, it's the same for me. TC is too edgy and Miracle doesn't count as an album.

Even it's a concept album, "Miracle" is definitely my least favorite. I admit that I listened it only few times. So recently I put it in my CD player just to give it another chance. Nope... we still don't like each other

 

I'm not a big fan of Anne Gedde's art either.

My least favorite is One Heart. It doesn't feel cohesive to me, too much of a hodgepodge. Maybe I could play with the song order, make a playlist out of it that I'd enjoy, but I've never tried.
