The concept was just kinda stupid to me and really could have been done at the end of her career if at all. I'm not saying I don't like any songs, Miracle, My Precious One, In Some Small Way, Come to Me, the french one (I can't remember the freaking title now) are really lovely songs! I don't particuarly think her voice sounded great most of the time either. If I Could, WAWW, Sleep Tight sound sort of atrocious to me, vocally. It's hard for me to listen to those without cringing. I don't have a problem with One Heart at all! I like most of the songs and don't think it was as poor as a lot of people do! Quote

I enjoy Unison and Where Does My Heart Beat Now but only when hearing her sing them live (such as on the A'Olympia album or at the Millennium concert). I NEVER put Miracle in to listen to it but I remember liking the songs Come To Me and My Precious One. Quote

The songs on the album fit the concept and if I were a parent I would probably like it or like to play it for my child. The ones that don't work for me are The Collector's Series and All The Way...A Decade Of Song. For TCS-V1 I don't like the album simply because there wasn't anything collector-worthy. Hardly any rare songs, no live tracks or remixes, and the CD wasn't enhanced with any special computer videos or features to watch. For All The Way...A Decade Of Song they leave off "Where Does My Heart Beat Now," which was her first big hit, and then leave off "Misled" which was her first #1 in the club charts? Huh? Doesn't make sense to me. Oh, but then they go ahead and put the "Misled" video onto the DVD version, but they don't add it to the disc later? Stupid in my opinion. I would like to see a new Greatest Hits album released that is complete and not half-a** done. Joe Quote

I only like from "One Heart" the title track, and from "Taking Chances" The title track and "Alone." Don't know, again, I can't really get into them as much as I do the others. Quote

I like 5 of the songs(I Drove All Night, Love Is All We Need, One Heart, Reveal, and I Know What Love Is), but the only ones that I can say I *love* are I Drove All Night and I Know What Love Is. The other 3 are just very good. I try not to consider Have You Ever Been In Love as a release on OH, because even though it was a single, it was originally available worldwide on A New Day Has Come, so I consider it a release on A New Day Has Come. Anyway, I hate all of the other songs. Yes even Je T'aime Encore and Naked. Don't ask why, they just don't click with me. I used to like Stand By Your Side, but now it's kind of annoying. Faith is probably the worst song she has ever recorded. I just can't listen to it without cringing at that chorus. "Faaaaaaaaaaaith". Gah! The album is really the lowpoint in her career, and didn't have the maturity and emotional connection that her other albums now(even if the album has been said to be her most personal). I know some people love it, but I just hate it. I'm glad she revived herself with Taking Chances, which is an excellent album. I love all of her other albums, though. Even Unison. LTAL is weak for my taste. the sound quality of the cd is very poor compared to the quality of FIY. the songs in LTAL are boring & laughable (tell him, i hate u, the reason, immortality, treat her like a lady). very overrated. as for the french cd, it's d'elles. i can listen to s'il suffisait d'aimer & des mots qui sonnent everyday, but d'elles makes me wanna skip song after song. In Some Small Way is the only song I know all the words to on that album, except for some covers, and songs that she had recorded previously. I don't even have the tracklist memorized. My least favorite French album not counting her pre Incognito days (those albums don't even compare to her post transformation era), would have to be 1F4T. I don't speak French, but when she comes out with a new French album, I buy it ASAP, listen to it all the time. This one, again, I don't even have the tracklist memorized. Other than that I've been very happy with all of her albums. Taking Chances definately beat my already high expectations by far. Quote
