Davey84 Posted March 8, 2008 at 11:01 PM Posted March 8, 2008 at 11:01 PM Well do you? I was wondering if Céline fans are 'healthy' fans... or are most of you getting asfast on your lungs? I never smoked.... never did, never will! People should do what they can't resist... and I don't really mind people smoking, at least... if they are not pregnant or something!!! and that the people around you don't suffer from it! also... if they would get sick, cause of the smoking, I don't think they have the right to complain I heard/read Céline was surrounded by her tour staff and musicans etc and a lot of people smoked...and Céline at some point had enough of that, and said... 'Would you mind not smoking in my presence, because it is bad for my vocal cords'. And nobody ever smoked again with Céline near..... but I also heard in a 1998/99 interview that Céline smokes sigars, but doesn't inhale.... no THAT I don't get... and I hope that was just a temporary thing!! SuperLove4Celine Posted March 9, 2008 at 12:24 AM Posted March 9, 2008 at 12:24 AM In an extreme once-and-a-while I'll smoke a cigar or two. However, that only happens usually once every year or two. As for Celine "smoking" cigars I think it's probably more along the lines of what I do. If it's a celebration or whatnot and she doesn't have a job coming up she may, but that's a BIG may. - Joe Quote
Krys Posted March 9, 2008 at 03:22 AM Posted March 9, 2008 at 03:22 AM i will never smoke i saw a documentary on tv once about smoking cigars. apparently cigar smoke is not meant to be inhaled. you keep it in the mouth for a few seconds before exhaling. Quote

Yer, I used to smoke cigarettes, then I tried smoking a cigar when I was out in a nightclub (before the smoking ban came into effect). I thought you inhale like you do with cigarettes, and omg, I heaved! I gagged and coughed, and it was really unpleasant! Then, only afterwards, whilst I still had tears in my eyes, my friends said to me, don't you know you're not supposed to inhale with cigars?! I stopped smoking because I moved back with my parents after I finished university, and they didn't know that I smoked, so I stopped. I actually found it easy to stop, which proves I wasn't addicted, and also proves how pointless smoking was because it did nothing for me. I think the only reason I smoked was when I was out, it just felt fine to have a bottle in one hand, and a cigarette in the other. Now of course, no-one can smoke in a pub or club, so I now have a bottle in one hand, and a bottle in the other! Probably doing just as much damage to myself, but it stops me from smelling of smoke the following day! Quote
Terre Posted March 9, 2008 at 08:35 AM Posted March 9, 2008 at 08:35 AM No! Smoking is so disgusting! It's bad for your health and the smell... I also think that smokers who contract lung cancer for example have no right to complain. dj4celine Posted March 9, 2008 at 06:39 PM Posted March 9, 2008 at 06:39 PM Nopes, NEVER and I can't understand why people do that. Some of my friends do it and that just pi$$es me off very much... and my best friend said he "tried" smoking this time in college and that ended with me not talking to him for 3 days straight (both of us talk once every 8 hours so that was just too much) I hope people here would soon try to quit it as well cos I think almost everyone knows that it isn't healthy Quote

Your friends aren't under your control, and to not talk to them because they smoked...is TOTALLY overrating, and overly dramatic. It's their bodies, and they have the right to smoke if they want to, without you getting pissed at them. Quote

And I don't interfere much with my other friends' life because like you said it's their "bodies" but I can surely say that I do have a certain control over my best friend's life just as he has over mine. Besides, I didn't say that I didn't talk with all of them... I didn't talk with just my best friend I won't give the entire details about it here. Quote

VintageCeline Posted March 10, 2008 at 12:19 PM Posted March 10, 2008 at 12:19 PM I smoke when I feel like I want a cigarette. Which is ocassionally, but I smoke more if I am having a drink at home or out whatever. I only smoke menthols if I do, because they are so much more soothing, if that makes sense... Its a bad habbit, but im only 18 - by the time im 21 - I wont drink so much, I'll be more healthier, and not smoke...Because thats when I'll have finished Uni and will be looking for a real job x Quote http://24.media.tumblr.com/94198518f8a09aef1d336d6fde8fc8b3/tumblr_mkdcezs36X1r7lwiso1_400.jpg
