Celine does in fact LEASE the plane with the tail number privacy, it is still registered to a leasing company (Vesey Air LLC), however she really is the user. There is a website you can go to and enter the tail number of the plane and see when it is in US Airspace. According to the site, the plane was last in the US on April 28, 2008. It left Palm Beach, FL and was headed to Manchester, UK. Interestingly, her plane used to be the plane of the Oakley Sunglasses CEO.

I totally agree! I think its boderline stalking and I don't see the need to post her flight info. I'm sure she would feel its a total invasion of her privacy and safety and her families safety and privacy.

In most situations celebrities like Celine fly their private jets into a private airport (often connected to a main airport). When they do this, they have private entrances and exits. In order to find Celine at an FBO (short for fixed base operator or fixed base of operation) you'd have to have clearance to get in and that is only allowed to employees or those who chartered the jets. Granted in some places their aren't FBOs which would require the charterer to go through the airport like a "regular" person but generally those with private jets tend to use FBOs, makes life easier on so many levels for them. So one could stalk her flight info (theoretically) but it'd be tough to just meet her at the airport, though I suppose anything is possible... you could probably see her car driving in and out of the private entrance.... Not that I'm encouraging it.....

You are right, I used to work at the airport and private flights never use the regular arrival lounge, that's the point of having a private jet! the closer you can get to the passangers is seeing the car leaving from a special exit only used by owners of private jest, so yeah, I don't think we are inviding her privacy, otherwise this whole forum could be taken as inviding her privacy! We have pictures of her homes!! don't we? that's even worse of knowing where her flight is going to land....just my opinion.

Chances are that the jet she uses is a "shared" jet. There's a company called NetJets and what they do is someone buys HOURS for certain types of planes and when you need the plane you call up NetJets and you tell them and they send a plane and flight crew out to meet you at the FBO and fly you to where ever. This is actually common in the private jet world, it's cheaper and easier than buying your own a/c and having your own crew and paying for the upkeep and hanger costs and fuel etc. NetJets isn't the only airline that does this private jet-share (for lack of a better word). So yes that might be Celine's flight your tracking, but if could also be someone else using that jet when she's not. You might have just tracked a very rich Joe Schmoe. Also I wouldn't really trust flightaawea for a private flight... I use it all the time for work for commercial flights so when I looked at the tracking for a private flight, A) it didn't show normal information and I just don't think it's tracking completely.

 

C) Above all, knowing what I know about airline security, I think Celine's pretty darned safe, probably safest in the air. I'm not saying that people should go out and prove me wrong and I don't condone "stalking" or whatever, but I really think that Celine is probably safest from being followed when she's in the air or at an airport. Even waiting for her at outside an FBO would be a bit difficult, think about it, when you go to the airport you can't even slow your car for more than like 5 seconds before some security person comes and yells at you, do you think the security for and FBO is going to let a flock of fans stand outside the security shack? No, that's a security risk.... Anyway, blah blah blah, just some thoughts for those who are worried for Celine... I think even if people are tracking her flight, 9 times out of 10 I think they aren't really tracking her flight... but I'm not good at really keeping an eye on her.

Do you know how easy is to get her homes addresses? Please! I don't think nobody here is being a pyscho for knowing where her plane is.
