Bruno Dion Posted February 10, 2008 at 06:25 PM Posted February 10, 2008 at 06:25 PM We know that "Aun Existe Amor" is the Spanish adaptation of "L'amour existe encore", the song about the AIDS, which Celine sang on her album "Dion chante Plamondon" (or "Des mots qui sonnent" in France). In words of Celine: "At the beginning of my sabbatical leave, tells Celine, I wanted to make most possible things, so I learnt Spanish because I love the languages. Then the baby was born. L'amour existe encore, signed Luc Plamondon and Richard Cocciante, is wonderful and I had interpreted it ten years ago. When you are crazy about a melody, you want to hear it in all the languages, and as the audience was demanding a title in Spanish for South America...""What's brilliant, Luc Plamondon goes into raptures, it's that the text says "Aún existe amor"... "Amor" comes on "encore" from the French version. We can find the same tone... It's formidable!" Celine had recorded "L'amour existe encore" in English and Spanish version. It is the Spanish version "Aún existe amor", which was finally chosen, because it sounded better phonetically. And where is the english version ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I have to edit it.We all knew she recorded "L'amour existe encore" English version at the same time as "Aun Exite Amor". We also know there's "Have You Ever Been In Love" Spanish version. We may never get those. Quote Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!

MTJ Posted February 11, 2008 at 02:55 AM Posted February 11, 2008 at 02:55 AM I'm not so sure I want to hear them. If a song doesn't sound good, then it doesnt sound good! After all, she's human, not a computer, her voice isn't always perfect. So for me, these songs can be left unreleased. Quote
Davey84 Posted February 11, 2008 at 08:41 AM Posted February 11, 2008 at 08:41 AM Well I'm sure it wasn't céline's voice that didn't sound good, but the translation of the song in english didn't sound good Quote http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th

DjCeline Posted February 11, 2008 at 11:36 AM Posted February 11, 2008 at 11:36 AM Maybe one day we'll have the chance to listen to them...Hopefully. Anyway, for it doesn't matter if the song doesn't sound good. I'm just being curious. And my opinion about Celine's voice and talent won't change just because a few unreleased songs don't sound good. Javito Posted February 11, 2008 at 11:59 AM Posted February 11, 2008 at 11:59 AM (edited) I'm not so sure I want to hear them. If a song doesn't sound good, then it doesnt sound good! After all, she's human, not a computer, her voice isn't always perfect. So for me, these songs can be left unreleased. You don't have any curiosity about them? Maybe one day we'll have the chance to listen to them...Hopefully. Anyway, for it doesn't matter if the song doesn't sound good. I'm just being curious. And my opinion about Celine's voice and talent won't change just because a few unreleased songs don't sound good. Agree. I don't care if the song translation sounds good or not! Its always fun to know new unreleased songs from Céline that keep them locked And furthermore, who has the authority to decide when a translated song sounds good or not? That is a very particular opinion that would only depend on the listener!. Maybe for the Céline team L'Amour Existe Encore in english or HYEBIL in spanish sounded bad, but maybe another person finds it a great song, even better than the other versions And why should I believe their criteria? Why should I believe the person that decided that LAEE didn't sound good in english? Because if its as correctly as the same team that chose HYEBIL or GTSW as a single to hit radios (instead of killer tracks like Sorry For Love or WTROLYR), then I'm sure that the english version of LAEE and the spanish version of HYEBIL are masterpieces! And a song coming from Céline its difficult that sounds bad. You may not like the lyrics, but her voice? Sure it sounded great. So its always a gift to have Céline songs in other languages, independently of sounding better or worse to the originals! Edited February 11, 2008 at 12:07 PM by Gonzalillo Quote "Hush, now...
