thanx for sharing the news. i've been reading some ppl's blog that siti nurhaliza is hoping to do a duet with celine. oh goodness, i hope that will never happen. the horror!!!!!

 

GOOD GOD NO! she'll prolly ruin the song :doh: gosh i certainly wouldnt wanna hear Siti sing during a Celine concert or on a record either :doh:

OK, Celine can't possibly come on the 4th. She's got a concert due on the 4th in Australia. Unless she's Hiro Nakamura, she can't possibly be in two places at once, or even remotely at the same time! :P

 

Beliau berkata, bersama 80 rombongan yang terdiri dari kalangan pemuzik, penari, pihak pengurusan serta ahli keluarganya sendiri, Celine akan mula berada di Malaysia pada 4 April dan mereka akan terbang ke sini menaiki jet peribadi Celine.

Speaking of the duet - i won be surprised if they r arranging 1 for Celine with Siti.

Perhaps Siti's management wanted tht duet :D

 

well, it's so known tht Siti idolizes Celine - 2 powerhouse together would be kinda 'expected'

like Dayang, or Jaclyn Victor ...

i meant the "celine is reported to arrive at Kuala Lumpur earlier than the concert date...she wanted to stay some times here with family and friends...I think her activities will be headline in many local medias...." part. not the shopping mall part :giggle:

but still a nono for the duet part. maybe i can put up with Jaclyn but not Siti. Siti cant even sing in English properly without the horrible diction. the worst thing is she can forget her lyrics :doh:

yeah ler...

coz she's like a fan of Celine's, basically.

and when she rose to stardom back then - literally, she does have the vocal, if i may say. And not many local female singers then were with the whole package (looks, vocals)

 

so, tht eventually made ppl compare her to Celine, quoting her the Malaysian Celine Dion

(arhhmm, i don really think so la...a long way more to go...) :rolleyes:

didnt we all know that Siti was like a huge Celine fan... and siad a duet with celine would be her greatest dream come true...

 

and c'ommon... she's married to all the money in the world, and if he could afford to put her in Royal Albert in london.... he's got what it takes to put her on stage next to Dion...

I can't believe we're talking about what kind of songs that MIGHT be on the Celine & Siti duet. UGH! I'm feeling sick already! hahahaha....

 

I'd rather Jaclyn Victor have the honours than Siti. Her England banyak (tak) cantik! hahahahaha.... :sofunny:

It is titled direct conversted to malay language as 'Aku Cinta Padamu' (or something like that, cant remember well the title). When this song came out, alot of hu ha hu ha said CT sings so well in this malay version......

 

but, Celine's still the best.....

Siti's 'Aku Cinta Padamu' was released long time ago, the song tht propelled her to stardom?

Like wht Zanif said, it's only the song title which's directly translated - it's entirely a different song.

 

Oh, she brought her family to VegaS? hehe i didn't know tht 1..but it's not surprising ler... ingat she will only go with her husband...

obviously every fan crazy enough and has moolah would've gone to Vegas just to see Celine :giggle: so you dont like the idea of Siti doing a duet too? :P

if Siti does the duet, the duet will only be released here in Malaysia. so what's the point? :shrug: just like the Yuna Ito and Celine duet, it was only released in Japan. but Japan is different as there is a huge Celine fan base there

 

i highly doubt that Celine knows Siti. Siti is only known in Malaysia and Singapore perhaps Indonesia. and thats about it :ermm:

im going to be paying RM1000 just to see Celine and i definately wouldnt want to hear Siti sing in a Celine concert. duet or not -_-
