Bellamy Posted March 25, 2008 at 02:25 PM Posted March 25, 2008 at 02:25 PM I know it's your government. Same rules when the Chinese singers have concerts over there? Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!
Krys Posted March 25, 2008 at 02:26 PM Posted March 25, 2008 at 02:26 PM it applies to all. the concert promoters have to pledge that the performers wont wear "revealing" outfits it happened to Mariah, Linkin Park and most recently Gwen Stefani
JessCC Posted March 25, 2008 at 02:30 PM Posted March 25, 2008 at 02:30 PM Like what Krys said... Applies to all. How about China? Will they have that kind of ruling there too? I sure hope not. I know it's your government. Same rules when the Chinese singers have concerts over there?
Bellamy Posted March 25, 2008 at 02:43 PM Posted March 25, 2008 at 02:43 PM No problem to Celine at least. Maybe Madonna or some others may get trouble, for the sex words and songs. Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!
Krys Posted March 25, 2008 at 02:46 PM Posted March 25, 2008 at 02:46 PM thats relatively minor compared to ours. you can potentially get fined for just holding hands in the streets. go figure
JessCC Posted March 25, 2008 at 03:00 PM Posted March 25, 2008 at 03:00 PM I remember one particular case. Stupid cop. thats relatively minor compared to ours. you can potentially get fined for just holding hands in the streets. go figure
Bellamy Posted March 25, 2008 at 03:02 PM Posted March 25, 2008 at 03:02 PM Celine is just perfect to Chinese. She's considered as the super diva with angelic voice, who is classic but can show her sexy side with elegance. JessCC Posted March 25, 2008 at 03:08 PM Posted March 25, 2008 at 03:08 PM (edited) Mmmmm... You can say that again! Now, if only our stupid government will REALIZE that.... It would solve a lot of costume problems. Celine is just perfect to Chinese. She's considered as the super diva with angelic voice, who is classic but can show her sexy side with elegance. Dionesque Posted March 25, 2008 at 03:30 PM Posted March 25, 2008 at 03:30 PM I guess the case in Malaysia may be due to many Muslims living there. You know, some Muslims are really strict when it comes to "reveal the body" so I guess that's why the government is setting such rules to appear fair to those strict Muslims. I guess in China it's a bit different, there it's not about religion but about "commercializing" and "westernizing". Sorry, I don't know how to express myself. But you see, in China main problem is if you show too much "sex" (in words and in look) and not when you just reveal your beautiful legs and shoulders or back with class, like Céline does. That's why I'm almost sure Céline wonát have any such problems in China. She's simple and classy yet amazingly great artist! Annie Horth also envisaged a dress "Plan B" for when the round of Celine stops in the countries of the Gulf or in Malaysia. Over there, the artists must be covered on scene. Celine will then wear a dress in coat of mail of 8 cm longer than the others, with the covered shoulders. stupid idea....i knew this is coming after Mariah Carey's.....hiya.....forget all the short skirts....jilaka betul......hate it...i would rather she choose singapore or thailand........i further hope the restriction not until the stage that cant change costume for the entire 1-2 hours show like Mariah's....finger crossed XXX Edited March 26, 2008 at 02:39 PM by kgkean

corr_azy Posted March 28, 2008 at 02:05 AM Posted March 28, 2008 at 02:05 AM Hopefully the Malaysia show doesn't get cancelled. The Melbourne show has already been rescheduled and I can't make it. I can't imagine going down all the way to Malaysia and have it cancelled too. Cross your fingers guys, for the Brisbane and Sydney concerts, the cancellations were only announced in the morning of the day of the concerts.
