Salut a tous!

 

I just returned to my hotel, which is literally feet away from the Centre Bell.

I must say, today was a superb day. Not only did I have the pleasure of meeting marvelous Celine fans, but I saw an amazing performance.

 

I'm sure Tracy and the rest will tell you about our fantastic visit around the city: Nickels all the way to Charlemagne. It was a breathtaking day.

 

My group had dinner at the restaurant in the Centre Bell, and upon leaving to the venue we saw the sign saying:

YOUR ATTENDANCE TONIGHT SAYS THAT YOU ACCEPT TO BEING FILMED FOR A TELEVISION SPECIAL AND FORTHCOMING DVD!

So I can tell you that TONIGHT'S SHOW WAS FILMED FOR THE DVD!!!

 

I can't talk long, unfortunately the Sheraton charges me beaucoup d'argent per minute!

The set list is the exact same. Dresses and costumes are the exact same.

 

But she LOOKED gorgeous and sounded even better! She was SPOT-ON the whole night!

 

There was a very special moment during "MY LOVE." I know everyone says that, but this truly was! What happened made the song last for 7 minutes! In the middle of the a capella part someone yelled (I believe...can't remember) "JE T'AIME, CELINE!" and she almost lost it! She wanted to laugh, she wanted to cry. You can tell that she's so happy to be in Montreal. She talked for a second about how it's was almost harder singing it tonight as opposed to the studio!!!! It was a cute moment, and then she started all over singing the song from the very beginning again.

 

The encores were breathtaking, the audience was MAGNIFIQUE (except for the people in front of me constantly talking. I had to poke their backs and say "SHHHHHHH!" with a very mean face.

 

Tonight was a fantastic night for me, a night I will never ever forget. I can't wait to see her tomorrow.

 

I was surprised, I wasn't dissapointed in the lack of French songs. The show is fun, beautiful, and perfect.

 

HIGHLIGHTS: "I Drove All Night", "Destin", "All By Myself (WOW!!!)", "Alone (HOLY GOD! AMAZING!)", and "My Heart Will go On" and "Pour que tu m'aimes encore" were touching.

 

I RECORDED THE WHOLE AUDIO OF THE SHOW. I will edit it when i return to Chicago on Wednesday. It was amazing and turned out pretty good!

That's awesome, Alex! The Sheraton rocks, it's so close to the Bell Centre. I stayed there for the opening nights. Did she have to sing it again because they were filming?

I don't understand people saying that "I Drove All Night" and "My Heart Will Go On" were highlights of the show. I mean, I seriously don't want to take away from someone's experience but I just don't get it. How can watching someone lip-synch songs be a highlight???!!!! My Love, Alone, All By Myself, It's A Man's World - all of those I get but IDAN and MHWGO? I really don't

To be honest, I enjoyed the whole show when I saw her on the 28th. I didn't care that the songs were lipped, I was just in awe that I was seeing Celine on stage. I loved the entire concert, lipped and live!

Yes...the concert tonight was INCREDIBLE...it was so cool to be a part of a French concert. Kimberly and I had seats in row d, thinking it was 4th row, but actually ended up being 3rd row on the aisle...it was so good...when Celine first came out we started screaming and they filmed us for quite some time, so hopefully we'll make it on the DVD, lol!!!! Just a few things that stick out for me right now, they won't use EOM from tonight's performance for sure. The fan did NOT work at all, so Celine's cape did not blow around like it was supposed to...I guess somebody will get fired for that one, lol. Also, MHWGO, some random guy ran up the catwalk on the east side of the stage from his seat and bowed to Celine, hugged her and gave her his hat, it was so weird and security did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING at all...what security! My Love was great again and Celine had to restart. We got TONS of of pics and videos and audio that we will share later, but it was amazing!!! Can't wait for Columbus in just a few weeks!

The show was amazing again!!!!! except that two fans went over the security barriers!!! the first one got onto the stage, crossed it and went to celine to give her a kiss and give her hos hat!!! that wasn t the worse, when celine was coming out a lady litterraly grabbed her by the shoulders! It was scary! As the bodygards started to take on the lady celine stopped them ans took the lady s face in her hands and kissed her cheeks it was amazing!

 

The show was really awesome... except fopr that fan problem, but it was funny to see celine trying to make her cape fly! it hsould be in the dvd just for that part.... she looked like a little bird trying to make her first flight!!!

 

as the dvd team was taping tonight it ;ight be a blooper in it!

Wow, what an incredible show Celine did tonight. Absolutely amazing and so were my seats!!!! I can't complain at all. But I do have one question; Does anyone have the medley performed by her band on video or is it anywhere on Youtube? I LOVED that part!

When I was at the show I saw the guy in charge of the fan that makes her cape fly. He comes out and at the proper time sticks this little portable fan on the edge of the stage. I'm not sure if there are two of those things, one on each side of the stage. It was funny to see because he would just put the fan on stage then take it away. I'm sure someone talked to him last night!

Ach, so they were filming on Sunday!! Cool for you, guys!! I so envy the woman Tam spoke about but hey, Tam & Stéph, we've got our amazing moment with Céline on 20th, right?!
