Taking Chances World Tour DVD Pre-Release Thread Part 1

I want an All Access bonus feature like they did with AND. I want to see what its like for Celine getting changed under the stage!

 

 

Just a random question. How does Celine come up through that big gold stand during It's A Mans World? Do they fix a big cylinder on top of the square elevator to fit inside the stand the dancers set up? Cos it's obvious she's not standing on the square elevator during that song...

Yup, I guess we can say it now, although we were asked to wait till the official annoucement... but since Sony say it! The DVD will indeed come out at the beginning of 2010.

Productions J won't, but knowing Sony...I won't even be surprised if it's next Christmas when we get this thing.

I have read some of the previous posts, and first of all, there is no ''mystery'' at all behind the delay of the dvd... its just down to some production issues, which isn't a secret....

And second, the choice to delay the dvd was ''not made recently''.... it was made a good few weeks back when I reported it would be delayed until 2010.

 

So I think these sources have not been telling some members the whole story!

Now, why on earth would the production team of Céline want to go up against the competition of these market-grabbing giants with the release of a DVD from a tour that ended 8 months ago?! (Remember, they're not just aiming for the die hard fans like us here at the forum) Of course, they will delay the release of her DVD until the media storm has settled.

well I kinda agree with west wing, but it would have been good to release it before x-mas, cos it would have made a great x-mas gift! but if you imagine they had tons and tons of footage 'behind the scenes' then it's logical it would take a while to edit it all. I just hope it won't be a 60 bonus feature, or otherwise I will be pissed!

hahaha 60 minutes would be awesome!! and well I wouldn't mind a special edition with bonus content of shows; special things like the 'song she sang for the public' cos of the rain in Arras, or the dancing in Poland, TJTWIM in Australia, CFTF, ANDHC screwed up in Korea... the first time she sang ML! now THAT would be utterly utterly amazing!

What did I say exactly except that "the wait will be worth it (I hope)"? Is that such a huge info?

 

Oh well, whatever. I really understand why people who have much more information don't want to post on forums, because of some fans' reactions who immediately jump on you to know more. And who take the right to doubt your sources only because they don't know themselves! Sorry, I shouldn't have sais anything.

 

Let's wait till next year to have this amazing DVD in hands!

Just wanted to let you guys know, that one of my best contacts has informed me that, I can now share with you that, the dvd should ''hopefully'' be out for Valentines Day, or Mothers day (14th March) at the latest.
