Taking Chances World Tour DVD Pre-Release Thread Part 1

Great news!

I hope somebody reads the ideas that have been discussed in this thread and takes them on board.

Would be great if the new DVD was as comprehensive as possible and included as many of the performed songs as possible.

Not forgetting that the Paris shows will likely be different to the others...!

 

Whatever happens, it's fantastic news! I can't wait to see the end result!

At what i understand, they will film the Africa concert, but i think they are intelligent enough that we also want a show with the real stage and then the french and the english version.. Let's pray!

a live cd brilliant especially if she actually sings live and does not lip synch.....not really into celine doing marcel marceau show!!!

its so fake and its beneath her....i would love an acoustic set celine unplugged ??? just the voice and piano mega!!

would also love a big bombastic show ala cher"follow that u *censored*" her farewell tour .....again i hope she sings live......they have enough concert dates to pick from so what about a compilation dvd showing celine in each city and a live performance from each ??? just an idea

(1:10 p.m. GMT) Jean Lamoureux and Stéphane Laporte revealed yesterday to the Quebec press that they're working on a brand new project for Celine Dion. A team of Productions J taped the whole press conference and will follow the complete Taking Chances World Tour to create a DVD on the same concept of A New Day... Live in Las Vegas DVD. Denise Bombardier, one of the writers of D'Elles song-lyrics, will also follow a part of Celine World Tour to write a book. Celine and her family will be meeting Nelson Mandela and a representative of the children of Soweto nourished by African Children's Feeding Scheme (ACFS) on Friday morning .

Yes, it was written in "La Presse" this morning, from the same article of the tracklist and Vito Luprano

Oh, and about the book they said Denise Bombardier won't talk with Celine, it's just how the world loves Celine, or see Celine..

I'm really glad to hear all this about the DVD project.

 

It's great that they plan to film the French concerts as well. Now we now that they will be (slightly) different from the rest of the tour.

 

And it's good to know they are following the whole tour because we can expect a comprehensive package, with rare song performances, and maybe Celine's sightseeing trips, or backstage at concerts at least! etc etc

 

It is absolutely killing me not reading the other threads! I'm dying to know all the details of the tour but I'll hate myself if I look!

But so far, I've managed to resisit the temptation!

As a fan, I'm hoping for the world tour DVDs, regardless in French or in English, but preferably in English. But being a fan of hers for more than 10 years now (oh my, time flew by!), I'm already EXPECTING SonyBMG to milk us for what it's worth, so I'm not surprised if there WILL be two different versions of this tour, one being French and the other being English. It's just normal. hahaha..... Expect to spend big bucks, people. hahaha....

 

I just hope it's like the Live in Las Vegas extravaganza thingy where we get 5 hours of footage from backstage to front to behind the scenes to fan takes to the ends of the earth. A compilation would be nice, not sure about another live CD though..
