Taking Chances World Tour DVD Pre-Release Thread Part 1

Actually the fact the French show might not be so different than the English show, leads me to think they will split the release between Francophone & Anglophone countries.... So the one recorded in Montreal will only be released in Canada/Quebec, France and the one recorded in Boston everywhere else. A bit like they did with the different versions of "A New Day....". Both will include a bonus disc with extra materials (like the documentary)..

I guess you're right....at first I was drooling 'bout the idea of two DVDs on an amazing book ...kind of like the Big Book edition of Miracle with full page pics and two DVDs in it....but now that the two concerts share so many songs....i guess that idea just faded away.... still the set list for Boston is great...IF they add full Bonus performances from past concerts of TJTWIM@Dubai, CFTF@Sydney, TT@Manchester, AWTBI@Tokyo, IGTMIM@Petroria...it's not that crazy of an idea, but we know SONY..... and the same with the french concert TLDH@Antwerpen, and hopefully more songs from 1F4T & D'elles on the next dates....I mean....they have a full crew recording each and every single performance around the world...they Can't just waste that material on a 15 minutes bonus documentary....can they?

I hope this ain't true. I also don't think it makes sens cause when Celine releases a french album it is available around the world. Why it should be different for the DVDs?

Both concerts should be recorded and afterward both should be released as a Box Set all around the world.

They will film the French concert in Montreal.

 

I don't know if the date is known for now.

Not exactly....that isn't always the case. Either it gets imported, not released, or released later.

And they did the same with AND by creating different versions, so it's really possible....

Escatly! That wouldn't just be very locigal but also the only things I would want as extras. But since we know how they operate by now and the "If it's too good - remove"-policy has been active since Vegas and highly visible during this tour (taking our the only good songs in the setlist: IGTMIM,TJTWIM and TT) be sure to see none of these songs on the extras, but tons of worthless "around footage"....

I would love to have the songs you guys mentioned too, also ANDHC, so she screws up the lyrics?! that's fun! it doesn't have to be 100% perfect all the time! but something tells me, we aint ever gonna see anything else but Boston and Montreal

On a Québec morning show called "Salut, Bonjour!" on TVA this week there was Stéphane Laporte who's working on the documentary for Céline's DVD. When asked he said that they had already recorded about 400 hours of footage from the tour and that they had watched half of it up to now. I have a very good feeling about that future DVD!!!!

I'm really looking forward to the DVD!

 

I don't know what to make of the 2 seperate (English and French) DVDs idea. I think it would be better to release the whole thing as some sort of deluxe box set with lots of cool bonus features such as: rehearsals, soundchecks, extra perfromances like CFTF, TT, TJTWIM etc. That would be great.
