Taking Chances World Tour DVD Pre-Release Thread Part 1

Love all of yours! We can just re-print our own covers based on all of these selections and stick them inside of our CD cases when we buy them

 

That's if it's released in a jewel case. I have a feeling it's a digipack as the cover is more rectangular than square.

They would do that. But...if it ends up being a jewel case, we're all set with plenty of options

I like that that one so much and I like that fact that it's in very hq! but this is already the picture from the book and it will be boring to choose the same picture twice even though you did a very very very good job !

And so it could be a serie. The Book, the live DVD...

 

But unfortunately we can not change that.

Sony has selected the picture already.

The production is already running, otherwise

they can't bring it on the market in may.

Agreed! For a minute I was really excited, thinking that had been released as the true official cover. Very professional looking and well done!

Ok, didn't find it appealing to go through the 20 pages or so I've missed, so if there's any blond remarks in my post there's an explanation for that.

 

 

 

I do see the points the cover haters are making. The pic of her is nowhere near flattering. However i am ambivalent to the point Thomas made by the importance of clearly showing that it's Céline on the cover.... couldn't it be a nice change to not have the cover scream Céline like all her latest covers, they tend to get somewhat plastic.

 

The colour scheme is still very nice. Don't like the pink parts but perhaps it's needed to bring up the rest. The audience is impressive and the colour it brings the cover is really nice. Very raw, silvery, honest, dirty yet fine live feeling.

 

Don't have a problem with the font either, I think it's great they've used the same font as a sort of logo for this entire release project (film and concert).

No, they cut it out coz they decided it sounded too frech and new. The old tracks felt awkward in comparison. They're afraid fans won't recognize the same old same old sound and get confused and not buy the same DVD twice.

 

I think they should release some song to promote it but ABM? i don't think it's right

I agree ABM is not right choice, ML would be more better, it´s a new song so I think they can released it as single now, no in 2008.

I think IF they would want to do a thing like this that the track should be very dramatic or upbeat. ABM is dramatic. ML is not, not the same kind of power anyway. It would be a nice opportunity to get FA more exposure, but I don't remember how it sounded live. SOL would had been fab if they hadn't completely ruined it for the live version.

 

Well if i where them i'd release Its mans world as a single, Im so saddened that we wont get "Ive Got the music in me" on CD

Will we even get that on the concert DVD then?!

 

 

I still pray and hope, but know it's beyond pointless, to have the absolutely best tracks of the tour - TT and IGTMIM - as bonus on the concert DVD/CD...

 

Why oh why did they drop them..... whyyyyy?

But everybody, I must say, EVERYONE got shocked at the cd/dvd cover.

If you got USED to it (as it's something normal) then that's another thing.

But at first everybody got shocked.

We've seen some incredible photo material from Celine through videos

and books... All coming from this tour and we, as HUMANS, couldn't understand

what happend to this cover designe!

the only reason we will get confused is because they removed the songs not because they left all the songs on the dvd !!!!! Moreover, I don't understand: what do you mean by "the same DVD twice"? They want us to buy the taking chances tour dvd/cd twice ??????

 

The covers SUCKS, the tracklist SUCKS! I'm not sur I will buy one copy of it so buy it twice ....
