PS. Sony, get your heads examined Why do i have the feeling that they were thinking of releasing AWTBI in the US, too But now the rumours about EOM being the second single Well, atleast EOM has the "young" effect than AWTBI

Doubt it. Did anyone listen to the Taking Chances radio special on Team Celine? The songs they focused on were "Alone," "Eyes On Me," "This Time," "Surprise Surprise," "That's Just the Woman in Me", "My Love," and "Taking Chances." So, you've got to figure that all of the potential North American singles are in that list.

The only ones in that list that I would have considered single-worthy are EOM, SS and of course TC. But then, these are the people who released "Have You Ever Been in Love" as a single and put it on *two* albums.

i did indeed share this information with john doelp from sony face to face at the final concert in vegas, and he admitted to being surprised. then when i asked him what the second u.s. single will be, he gave me a coy look and said, "no comment, chuck." curses!

so they pretty much have no interest in releasing Fade Away?

see the fact that he was surprised that we picked Fade Away tells me that the record company really has no idea who her fans are....or at least her truly devoted ones. i wish they would take the time to be more involved with us.

who cares about pleasing 20% of 456 votes rly... especially when we're talking about a particular group (young mostly - which lets face it, her audience is not mostly young ppl) DEVOTED fans who'll buy her album anyway

Besides the 2nd most voted song was Eyes on me and it seems that its gonna be the 2nd single...

i have been checking out several bookstores/shops - don see it..i doubt it they have it in malaysia.

yup, sure enough, under the remaining ambitions... acting and maria callas, just as one of you guys guessed.

i wish i could share some of what she said, but bb policy is very strict about pre-publication info. when the Q&A does run, i will be sure and post it here the day of publication.

and by the way, a couple months ago, i posted a poll asking about everyone's opinion about the second single. hands down, "fade away" was the leader from day one... i did indeed share this information with john doelp from sony face to face at the final concert in vegas, and he admitted to being surprised. then when i asked him what the second u.s. single will be, he gave me a coy look and said, "no comment, chuck." curses!

ah, and one more thing. E! canada is producing a "true hollywood story" on celine!! it is supposed to be televised there in the spring/summer. i was interviewed for the show today for two hours! celine will not be appearing, however, the producer told me that her camp supported the production -- E! is evolving past the day when its THS were nothing but scandal and the most salacious side of its namesakes, thank god. i do know that david foster will also appear on the program.

No. It's that she doesn't want to be a full time singer anymore, she wants to be a housewife - mother, take care of her family - Rene, RC, her mother - make her bed, do the dishes (cough cough lol) take RC to school with no body guards .... LOL hahahaha -- all these actives outside wearing a black wig, black sun glasses, so nobody would recognize her .... lol

ANyway... I really cannot wait to know what it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Hey, watch it now!!! I'm one of those 40 year olds you're referring to, and I can speak for quite a few of us and say that we're not stuck on Celine's ballads and very much enjoy the more edgy, more soulful Celine.
