I want to do a kind of poll, of the fans on the board from europe, regarding what you think is the best song on the album to be released as the 3rd single, that we really think/know, would be top 10 if not no.1 material. for europe, that I can pass onto my contact at sony bmg uk. Lets face it ''EOM'' is gonna do as well, if not worse than the 'TC' single did here! I have just stressed to sony uk that there is no rush for a 3rd single, as it has to be done right, and a few things have to be done differently in order to make the 3rd single a big success, unlike the other two disasters: No.1 Theres has to be a video to accompany the 3rd single, which is rolled out a week or two in advance, to the relevant music channels before the release...No.2 It has to 'heavily' promoted.... online, on tv adverts and in stores before its release,and after its release...No.3 All radio stations get the song a week or two before its release date, and not just BBC Radio 2....And finally and most importantly, the song itself has to be a really good radio friendly song that the fans believe in and that appeals to all ages etc... like '' Shadow Of Love '' ''Fade Away'' or ''This Time'' for example. So please can you really have a good think, and simply reply with a song title from the album, that you truley believe could really do well in europe and rescue this album. ''Taking Chances'' is still one of the catchiest songs of the album and yet it didn't take off. The general audience doesn't want an uptempo song from Celine. ''Alone'' could be a big hit based on the fact that many people know this song already. ''I Got Nothing Left'' could work because of the Ne-Yo hype. ''A World To Believe In'' and ''My Love'' are better songs IMO but I doubt whether they would make an impact. The safest choice would definitely be ''Alone.'' I LOVE the uptempo songs like ''Surprise Surprise'' but it's not always about which song is the best. It's about which song would be the biggest hit and only ''Alone'' and ''I Got Nothing Left'' could fare well based on the hype there will be about the cover aspect/the Ne-Yo collaboration.
