That's great that she talked a lot! I wanna know what she said too...I still don't quite understand "My love", though.
Have you watched the video of her recording it?

Yes- that's what confused me! LOL. I understood what she was saying about the sacrifices she's made over the years, and how her son is more important than her career, but how that fits in to the lyrics of the song, or if there's something about it all that I'm missing, I'm not sure. I tend to over analyse everything, maybe that's why. But yeah, it makes me kind of interested in whatever she says about the song. Also makes me like the song less, unfortunatley :S
It screams out how she truely feels, and that she does everything for everyone else, but herself...no matter what it takes, no matter how she feels...she is a person who will never say "enough" or "no". Celine strives to please everyone...the woman is tired.
You said it makes you like the song less...I hated that song when I first got the album, up until I saw that video...and now it has made me love it even more. Something that is REALLY about her...I just find it very touching ...

Yeah. I'm sorry. I really don't like to be the negative one. I just can't understand why she insists on singing it night after night, when it makes her cry! It's like that old saying "If it hurts- don't do it again!!!"

And I feel like I should feel sorry for her then, but I don't. I don't want her to be in any kind of pain, but she made these choices, and she has a good life. She's not a single Mother stuggling to feed her kids, or a person dying in hospital- those are the kinds of people I feel bad for. Does that make me a bad fan? I hope not.

Still not quite sure how her being tired fits into those lyrics, who exactly the song is directed at (God? Her fans? Rene?) or why she doesn't just take another break then- we know she can since she did it before. Maybe I'm overanalysing again. I dunno. Sorry. I'll shut up now.

haha...i think its just directed at everyone to let them know that this is what she does - she cant say no....she stands tall to get by but she made the choices and shes ultimately happy about where she is. Shes asking...how did u know that would play the part for instance and its kind of asking Rene....her management....the answer is she made it clear from the start that thats what she wanted.

About her being tired - i think the song suggests that she has to act happy all the time and perform when really shes over worked and doesnt get a minute to herself.

my love is almost representative of her love of singing - as well as rene maybe.

My name's Magdalena and although I'm new at the forum, I'm Celine's huge fan for years!!! I wish I was here long before, but without internet connection you can't do that.

:wub: I WAS ON CELINE's concert in Birmingham!!!!!!!! I'm not from England but currently I live in UK and I couldn't miss the opportunity to be on the Concert!!!

My head is full of words I would like to say about the Show, about totally GORGEOUS Celine!!!!! :wub:

Most of all, it was my first time I was on Celine's show, and I have waited so long for this Chance, so long.... I was so excited, so trilled just by the thought that I would be there.... Guys, you can't image my huge smile and a big heart beat just by the thought about being at the Concert...

I drove all day to come to Birmingham, and then waited in front of NIA for over 5 hours just waiting for the show. I came alone. There were so many emotions in me! I heard Celine's preparation for the show and.... I wish I could turn back time to be there again...

It is so hard to write all what you have in your head, but just only about Celine: SHE WAS GORGEOUS in every single way!!!! :clap: :wub: The voice, the look! All about her was (is) totally wonderful!!! The Concert was awesome in every single way!!!! The band was rocking with Celine and you know, Celine was a REAL QUEEN of the stage, of the place!!!!

I'll write more about the show later on, I still need to 'pick up' my thought. I just couldn't wait to share with you guys my thoughts.

You know what? For me there was only one thing wrong: the place. I have never been in NIA before so when I was buying the ticket I wanted to be nearest the stage, nearest Celine. I was in block C, E15 - the front row, grand floor, and... I was dissapointed. Because I was on the grand floor, stage was higher and because of that I couldn't really see Celine too often. First floor was much better, I can say. Or at least different blocks than C, and not the first row... The stage is in the middle of the place, so she was walking everywhere around, somehow she wasn't too often near me. What bother me the most is that: there were seats and I wanted to stand to see Celine, to really participate in the Show, to show her that she deserve to have a standing audience!!!!

Unfortunately I couldn't stand too often, because the people behind me shauted at me to sit down!!! :down: Can you image? I mean, there were too lazy to stand up for Celine, there were sitting and prefer watching her in a small monitor that rather stand and rock the place with Celine. Block C was full of weird people I can say, because in different block I saw people standing very often. I could only stand up when Celine for example said something like: 'Stand up and dance with me!' - it was with the song 'Love Can Move Mountains' I guess.

I was so exctited and trilled by Celine, and so pissed off on the place where I was sitting... :cry:

Guys, I don't know what happend but I lost the time. When she said 'Goodnight' for the first time, I thougt: "It can't be!, the show has just started!", then, later on when I was thinking what songs she sang, I knew that time just ran, passed so fast!!!! Right now I even can't remember the songs in the order she was singing them... Can somebody write it down please????

I really wish to turn back time and be there again and really enjoy the show because Celine WAS Fantastic, the night was MAGIC!!!! :wub: :clap:

I wish to be on other Celine's shows, on every single one!!!

There were and still are too many thoughts in my head to make it all clear and write a much better post, conslusion about the Concert.

I'm sorry for writing about the bad seats. I was just really dissapointed about that.

There is only one thing which will never change: Celine rocks all the way - always!!!!! No matter where and when!!!

Maybe you're right that crying isn't always a bad thing...I think in my life, especially this past year, it has been a bad thing though. I only tend to cry when I really wanna give up...I guess not everyone is like that. So it's probably just my personal experience affecting how I feel when I see Celine cry because I automatically feel, like, "OMG what's wrong? Is she gonna be ok?" Now that this has become all psychology-like, I'm gonna sleep. Thanks again.

A question for any of you who have seen her outside hotels, etc lately. Where's Nick? I haven't seen him lately. Do you think he's on vacation or something. I guess he needs time off sometimes too. The job seems to be a 24/7 one!

I always skipped this song on the album and when I heard it live I loved it, I went back and listened to it but I still do not like the album version, I just find it so boring.

just got back from birmingham,after a fantastic weekend!!! i was at manchester and london too,but this was by far the best!! celine was full of life,and was really up for the concert!!!! i love the way she says "BIRMINGHAAAAAAM" lol its cool!! i cant believe she has left the uk its not fair!! i was 3 rows from the stage in block D it was the best concert ever!!! thank you celine xx

I can't believe the Intro in London is exactly the same as Birmingham! With just a twist of 'It's good to be back in the UK, especially London' to 'It's good to be back in the UK, especially Birmingham'.

But during her speech before she sang My Love was definitely hillarious as Celine was trying to remember her scripts to say, someone actually shouted I LOVE YOU!! Perhaps that's what made this night most special though. I don't know about 'It's all coming back to me now' becuz it sounded exactly the same as in London (with the echo sound) -> kinda pre-recorded and replayed back on every concert.

Overall this night was great. Crowd wise, of course London has more than Birmingham but I found Birmingham is better - the audience actually sang along during My Heart Will Go On performance. I can hear loads of voices from different angles singing with Celine. The feeling that made you want to sing along.

LOL...no, its ok...I do get what you are saying. She has said if she could start over, she would choose a different life, but now that she has done what is already done, she has to go on with it...

I do have a feeling that she is going to shock us all one day, and take a reallyyyyyyyy longggg break.

She says that, but she has also said she has no regrets. And she could change her life now, but doesn't choose to.

I don't get how she can say she'd choose a different life though...imagine...she probably never would've met Rene...everything would be different. I always thought she seemed fairly happy and content with her life though, she's always saying she feels blessed.

Do you know, was she saying that in the context of 'if she had to start her life again she'd do things differently', or does she actually wish she could start over?

And I actually would not be shocked at all if she decided to take a long break I'm tempted to hope she doesn't, but her happiness is the most important thing, so if she wants to I think she should.
