I was thinking of Tina Arena and not Tina Turner. I would really prefer Celine sing Tina Arena's songs.

She was phenomenal! The song suits her, it's totally in her range and she just gets into it. It's been a long time sience we didnt see Celine having that much fun on stage even in RDMH, she doest seem to enjoy it like that.

Oh MY God, what was that? I simply loved the song performed by Celine... I didn´t even pay attention to it with Tina, but Celine... it´s a whole world!!! The performance was great, the dance, the dancers... everything was amazing !!!

Simply the Best is an absolutely brilliant performance. It is told that women get mature in their sexuality and confident in their womenhood at the age of 35-40. Looking at Celine's latest performances it is so true for me. Thank you Celine!

La performance de Céline sur "Simply the best" est tout simplement epoustouflante, du grand Céline. Et une énorme aisance sur scène.

What even makes me love this more is that I'm a huge Tina Turner fan and saw her farewell tour. :clap:

I miss Tina, so if Celine sings it I'll either be rockin' out to it or getting a little emotional who knows maybe both?

I hope this will be one of the surprises on this tour!!! :clap:

* December 18, 2008. 1st time ever in front row for a concert and it was with my idol Celine!

Dream #1 accomplished.

 

While singing a ballad the only time Celine looked at me was the time I had my sign up luckily!

She stretched out her arm palm faced up while singing with even more emotion in her eyes when she saw it, so it seemed like it was just for me at that moment.

Dream #2 accomplished with the extra bonus!

 

She came and left on my side. I went out 1 row, held up my sign and she stopped, held it herself,

and just looked at it with an awe expression on her face, stunned and amazed when she saw all the glitter!

She looked me in the eyes with those beautiful brown eyes of hers she was tuned into me at that moment and didn't look away, again her looking so emotional as I said with a sincere look on my face to her "It took me 5 hours to make this." (could have been more not sure)

She looked down and away very touched like maybe she wanted to cry then she HUGGED me!!!

She held me for more than just a moment She really took her time! I said to her while about to cry from the hug, "I love you so much!" Then that was it I don't think she said a word to me.

I was crying and saying omg all night with my heart racing and my mind in SHOCK from the unexpected hug and my eyes so sore from crying. I was ready to drop when I got home, but was so emotional I stayed up until 6:30 a.m.! Cried a little for a few days after. Sign and front row seat saved the day!

she looked and sounded fantsatic!!! i love this song so much and although i have huge respect for tina turner i dont really like the sound of her voice so to hear celine sing it was totally awesome!!!

i really hope she sings it on tour - it would be fantastic!!

cant wait!! may 8th 2008 02 arena london!!!

I watched the video not long ago and still at the present moment I'm completely stunned about everything I saw there. She looked so hot. OMG. :w00t: The song, the dancers, the audience going wild...Everything was perfect.

And I'm also very glad to have the opportunity to watch that video in such a fantastic quality. Kudos to this forum! :)

As I said, I've downloaded it quite recently but I watch it a million times everytime I come here. She's SOOOOO wonderful!!! :wub:
