Just imagine if she performed this as the opener for the Grammies. :w00t: :yahoo:

 

She couldn't perform someone else's song to open the Grammies. Its Tina's song and its the same performance of her walking in from the car as Tina did in Divas 99 she would get slated.

 

The performance is AMAZING!!! but she is impersonating Tina (with a bit of her own edge) but even the way she sings it is very similar. It's great for a one off - AND great for on tour but deffo not album/single/grammies

 

For Grammies its need to be Celine being herself showing her new edge.

I'm still in awe......5 hours after watching the performance. It was incredible. She needs to expose that sexiness and performance EVERYWHERE.

 

IT it was HOT!!!!!!

 

So infectious, I can't stop watching it.

Well, being a massive Tina Turner fan I was so excited to hear Celine sing this. It really was a phenomenal performance. No one can come close to Tina's version but Celine did her proud. It's funny when you think of how much Celine gets into Tina's music. First with RDMH and now The Best she is definitely channeling the Queen of Rock. Celine obviously loves Tina, but she rarely mentions it. I hope she keeps this song on tour, because it's shaping up to be a fan favourite. The fact that it's the most watched musical performance on You Tube speaks wonders. And most comments are positive. If you go to www.tinaturner.be you can check out some our comments in the forum.

Oke this I gotta share... I was having an amazing time during the performance, this this bit! Céline bents down, and what do I get? and apparently only me, cos no one else saw it... a direct celine crotch view!!! I was like :mellow: :huh: :blink: :o :unsure: :wacko: that imagine will be burnt onto my retina for ever!!! :pinch:

FANTASIC peformance!! I'm actually really surprised that it was a mimed vocal. I wouldn't have guessed that. She really moved during this, can't remember her dancing so much for a long while.

 

I did however think her vocals sounded different from what we are used to, maybe because she was trying to sound a bit like Tina?

 

WELL DONE CELINE!!!!

 

Were all the songs mimed? Can't believe we have another mimed version of TC!

Why is everybody surprised because TCH was mimed? We all know that during her promo tour in Europe all her TCH performances were mimed (except X Factor) even if they are broadcasted now, so just enjoy it! :thumbsup2:

It was featured on PerezHilton. That website receives about 5 million hits a day. That is why it is getting so many views.
