nystrele Posted February 5, 2008 at 10:56 PM Author Posted February 5, 2008 at 10:56 PM hi celine cats- i just proofed the billboard special section this morning! very excited for it to hit the streets on friday! i'm told it IS 20 pages, with 10 pages of editorial and 10 of ads... sadly, sony did not purchase what we call "a false cover," meaning a full page ad, so celine will NOT be featured on the front of the magazine... sigh... the cover has kenny g, the head of starbucks and some other dude on it. again, the cover date is feb. 16... i shall return on friday when it's permissible for me to post the goodies! cheerio!=chuck=

Many of the fans disagree with Sony's promotions (or lack thereof) for many reasons. Do you feel that Sony should be doing more, and have you ever considered going to a different label? yes! ask her about this - its what all the fans moan about - hahaha but maybe you dont have to be so direct. More like asking her if now at a more than comfortable stage in her career is she the one (her and rene) who are deliberately not looking for the 'next hit song' and just marketing her more as an albums artist or are they still looking for it and is sony letting them down? i presume Sony and Celines management have recognised that singles are dying and so are concentrating on albums but it would be interesting to know if they did still care about singles.....AND Ask her if Eyes on me is going to be re-released with Will. I Am as she has recorded it on her live special thats coming up.
