There are a bunch of artists (and not just Radiohead, the most recently prominent example) who release material on their own - which in my opinion is the best way to keep at least artistic control over that aspect. I wonder what he thinks about this development and for how long he wants to keep Celine in this old-fashioned from-another-century-like artist/label contract

The Celine special section in Billboard appears in the february 16 issue. it looks to be about 20 pages (that includes ads). it should hit the streets in north america on friday february 8 or monday february 11! the article i think you guys are referencing from a couple weeks ago is a touring column that ray waddell wrote about how fast tix are selling for the "taking chances" tour... that was a little preview of his coverage from the special. he wrote all of the touring material, and i wrote all of the celine stuff: Q&A, critics choice, best celine gifts and historical review. cheers!=chuck=
