Celine's promo tour was a BIG LETDOWN

Anyway my friends, We all understood that Celine works hard. I do also believe that " Hardwork pays"

All in all i just wanted to say is We should support Celine no matter what.

 

Like all Filipino language used to say " Ipagmalaki natin siya" or should I say Let's be proud of her in anyways.

Guys, a few things to remember (and I dont know if this was posted or not cause I havent read all the way through).

 

You can't expect her to be able to perform 8 new songs from the album. She probably barely had any time to do 2! Maybe a 3rd would have been nice. Something more upbeat and lively that kicked in a bit faster then TC.

 

Also, never ever doubt the power of the Grobanites. Josh might not be mainstream, but his fan base is hardcore...they don't mess around. Plus as someone else said, its Christmas and Josh's xmas album was very long awaited. Even to non-fans, you know his xmas album will be a classic. Plus this latest sales boost came courtesy of being on Oprah's favorite things list which always boots sales.

 

I totally get your point about her not talking about the album and that bothered me too, but at the end of the day its not entirely up to her what she's asked. And for all we know, she could have said a lot about the album but all of that was edited out because producers would rather ask her about having a baby with her older husband.

 

I think it sucks though that this all had to happen during the writer's strike. Hopefully it will end soon and maybe she can do Leno or something and promote the album, tour and DVD.

Yup Tal`s right. I`m just glad that she`s doing any promotion at all! Its just nice to see her in the media again. She`s saying "Hey! I`m still here! and I`m going strong!" so all in all I think the promotion was pretty good. Plus when the DVD comes out and the tour starts up there`ll be even more press.
