The only reedition for 2008 has to be Taking Chances with new songs (one of them Let me be your soldier)

There will be a "Collectors Edition" release of A New Day Has Come released on January 29, 2008. The 1st Disc is the album A New Day Has Come and the 2nd Disc includes "A New Day Has Come" and "I'm Alive" from A New Day....

 

I'll post any updates if I receive them. No cover or anything like that yet. It also says the CD is Enhanced so I don't know if the second CD will be an audio CD with enhanced video or a DVD.

Why remastering cd's which have been released in ess then 10 years ago??? (TAST now ANDHC)

 

Why not remaster albums which have long needed it - Unison, Celine Dion. Enough said.

This new DVD is the same show set list as the Nov 29 2007 show.thats the one I went to.and I really like how far A New Day has come.this DVD is clear sounding and has a really clear picture.there are some shots in the new DVD A New day that remind me my seats I had.there was a camera man there too.my seats were: THURSDAY NOV 29 2007

Indeed. But they'd surely screw it up and not include the excluded performances and still use the dubbed over GTSW and AEAA performances, so it's no use...

Stupid!! Why does the album have to remaster? It's not an old album, it sounds great and there are so many editions already (I have the version of the long box from FIY/LTAL/ANDHC too, and that released a couple of weeks ago :/ ) Why why why? :S

I had rather seen that Celine recorded again some old songs like d'amour ou d'amitie, la voix du bon dieu, c n'etait qu'un rêve.

The re-edition of TAST of this year its also "remastered". I wonder how/why they need to remaster a CD that has been recorded in 1998 and the sound was already great

LOL! How pathetic.... they didn't even bother to include the GTSW music video?!! That's just sad...

And they really should've put the ANDHC CBS Special on it.

I cant believe they are going to spend the money re-releasing and marketing this for the 3rd time with absolutely NOTHING new. It boggles my mind. We know that her recording sessions for ANDHC are just as long as the LTAL & SSDM & TC videos, so why not let us have them? Why not release the COMPLETE ANDHC experience?? Don't get me wrong, I'm still gonna buy it and all of the re-releases (they did say there are more coming )

 

I'd love to see her recording 'I Surrender' and wanna see Kara yell at her some more while recording 'Right In Front Of You'

The one positive thing to take from that press sheet is the words "Subject To Change."

 

I hope someone at Sony decides to include the CBS Special. It's simply a must and would truly make this a worthwhile addition to any collection. As it is just now, it's a joke.

yeah and they should definitely put all the videos on it. GTSW is the best video from the album - why on earth would they leave it off? It was a single after all. HYEBIL was a single from One Heart actually.... grr

 

As usual they try but never quite get it right.
