Will Celine ever record a spanish album?

I know Celine has recorded 3 Spanish songs: "Aun Existe Amor", "Sola Otra Vez" & "Amar Haciendo El Amor" and i know she wants to record a spanish album as a thank you to her spanish speaking fans but will she ever record one? She mentioned her wish to learn spanish in Billboard Music Awards Latino in 2002 where she performed "Aun Existe Amor" and won a award for "My Heart Will Go On"

i do hope sony will make her record a roberto carlos song.

next year he will be recognized in the usa as the only latin american to have sold millions of albuns in his entire career...

and there was a rumor of celine and huge artists doing his songs....

Well, for me personally Spanish is not one of my fave languages... I want her to record more in French or if she wants to record in other languages than English and French, I would looooooooooove to hear her singing more in Italian!!!

She should ! i think its a great market ,bigger then french in my opinion. And all the songs in spanish she has recorded in the past and not appealing at all. The lyrics are not well written.

I thought it was "Have You Ever Been In Love" that was recorded in Spanish? I vaguely remember seeing an autographed copy of the sheet music sold on eBay.

 

Anyway, if she ever does record a Spanish album it wouldn't surprise me if they put "Sola otra vez," "Amar haciendo el amor," "Aun existe encore," and "Mejor decir adios" on it as filler tracks. She'll probably even record a duet with Gloria Estefan.

I really hope she records an album in spanish someday. She has told she would like to in For Keeps book, and has told she likes the language and would like to learn it. Its not by chance that she has recorded 6 songs in spanish in her career

Yes it was recorded. I remember the copie of the lyrics that went for auction on eBay with some notes and her signature written on it

She can actually compile all her spanish songs that she has already recorded and put new ones to make one great spanish album.

 

I actually made an intermission number to my fellow Filipinos who don't know spanish ( only a few and most who knew spanish are the old ones cos they had Spanish subjects ) and I ssang "Aun Existe Amor"

 

It is my favorite spanish song. The next one would be Christina's "pero mi acuerdo de ti"

I think that she's reached a point in her career that whatever she does in english or french, it will not surprise. Enough of that. That's why I believe that her next challenge in music would be a spanish album. It would be another achievement in her career

But i'm scared for a complet spanish album.

 

J.Lo released one in 07, and i don't think it got a lot of success in america/canada.

I enjoy listening to spanish songs from her, but i feel that 1 or 2 songs per english album is enough for me.
